@MarcosArrut By the way, if OSK "only" restore vision, it's still very cool. And it will probably help in other fields of medicine. But entirely stop aging? I have doubts.
@MarcosArrut I don't think a lot of people oppose the cure itself. And those who oppose will be the first to want the cure once it's available. But many - including me - doubt that we are so near to the end of aging. I will be happy if proven wrong. But OSK added modest life extension in mice
@wannabekraze We "hate" your trash talk. But this isn't real hate, it's part the of the sport, everyone does it. The real hate come from small things like, threatening to annex or invade allied countries.
@Parzlive Please help me to understand why in AFL sometime they randomly kick the ball instead of passing. I try to watch that sport when I can't sleep at night and it's on TSN, a Canadian sports network. But I don't understand 10%.
@ianmSC Population of Europe is 743 millions - on a territory with a similar size as your country. Everyone watch soccer there. What's your point exactly?
@RektTrader13@WhiteHouse We call it Soccer in Canada. Actually what you call "American football" was mostly invented in Canada, and we have the oldest football league in the world.
@bryan_johnson But life expectancy in Australia is higher than in the US, and comparable to other countries with similar health systems and life habits. It could means that skin aging is mostly cosmetic - and deadly skin cancer is still rare enough to make no difference on the life expectancy.
@daemarrrr Seriously. People come visit your country. They enjoy their time and post about it. And the first thing you do is to insult them. Then you wonder why the tourism is dropping in the US while it increase everywhere else in the world.
@cohere@huggingface Might try this out to help a call center in Quebec, hope it will work well in French. What kind of hardware would be required to have near real-time translation for, let's say, 10 to 20 users? And if we use the API, can you guarantee the confidential handling of information?
@Matthew_Lake182@JimFitzBest@abhishekX697@davidasinclair According to your own source: control mice had 133 median life. Treated mice had 142,5. We are far from immortality. Play some tennis, eat well, and you gain 10 years without all the associated risk. The technology is fascinating but not yet mastered.
@Matthew_Lake182@JimFitzBest@abhishekX697@davidasinclair But this is not a full body rejuvenation, the technology doesn't exist yet - it would turn into tumors everywhere. It works on the eye since it's isolated and it doesn't impact other organs. Still very cool, but still far from an entire body rejuvenation.
