"Many insurers and analysts are estimating overall declines of about 20 percent, dropping to around 19 million from the 24 million who were covered under the A.C.A. last year." Ridiculous to not have people covered!

The health insurance industry hopes you never hear this:
Medicare for All would save the average American family over $12,000 a year. Gone: monthly premiums. No premiums. No deductibles. No copays. No surprise bills. No “out-of-network” traps. No $500 ambulance bill months later.
That is why they spend $150 million a year lobbying Congress.
A 2021 study concluded that switching to single payer health care would save $450 billion dollars annually. Why are we unnecessarily spending $450 billion every year?
