After 5 years, I’ve made the tough decision to shut down the MALU Stake Pool and retire as a DRep.
To everyone who supported the pool, or trusted me with their votes - THANK YOU!
Together we minted 7419 blocks and supported 30+ ISPOs and projects.
It’s been a fun ride and I’m incredibly grateful for the support that came from this community.
Please redelegate your ADA asap!
Thank you for everything 💙
🚨DRIFT EXPLOIT FALLOUT SPREADS TO 20 SOLANA PROJECTS
More Solana protocols have confirmed exposure to the $285M Drift exploit, with the number of affected projects rising from 11 to 20.
Prime Numbers Fi alone is estimated to have lost over $10M.
The @MidnightNtwrk mainnet is now live. 🕛
Here's what that means for you, starting with $NIGHT claims.
$NIGHT Redemption Update via Yoroi Wallet ✅
We pushed a mobile update to improve Midnight airdrop claims. If you experienced issues during the 2nd thaw, those are now resolved. Make sure you have the latest version of Yoroi installed (v7.0.4) and you're good to go. Thanks for your patience while we worked through this.
Why Midnight Matters 🛡️
Midnight is one of the most consequential developments the Cardano ecosystem has seen in years. A privacy-first sidechain built on Cardano expands what's possible for developers building confidential applications and for users who need real data protection onchain.
This is the kind of infrastructure that changes the conversation around what Cardano can do.
Midnight is live 🥳
Today marks the launch of the @MidnightNtwrk, a defining step forward in blockchain infrastructure and the realization of a fourth-generation architecture.
Rather than forcing a trade-off between transparency and privacy, Midnight allows both to coexist. Developers can build applications where user data remains private, while key conditions can still be proven on-chain, unlocking entirely new design space across financial products, identity systems, and decentralized applications.
Welcome to privacy by default, and disclosure by choice.

🚨 BREAKING: Someone just built a self-hosted AI app that processes all your receipts and invoices automatically.
You upload a photo. It extracts the product, taxes, dates, and auto-converts the currency, and keeps your financial data 100% private.
100% Open Source.
FluidTokens announced the first atomic swap between Cardano and Bitcoin on the mainnet.
50 ADA was swapped for 0.0001 BTC.
An atomic swap is a peer-to-peer exchange of two cryptocurrencies between users on different blockchains.
It ensures that neither party can cheat the other, although successful completion depends on both parties acting within a defined time window.
▪️They swapped ADA for BTC without using a bridge
▪️Fully non-custodial
▪️No middleman
▪️No wrapped tokens, native asset for native asset
How does it work?
They used a script-to-script swap.
A script-to-script swap is a cryptographically enforced trade.
On the Bitcoin side, hashed timelock contracts (HTLCs) were used. The same primitive is used in the Lightning Network.
HTLCs allow two parties to lock funds using a cryptographic secret.
Once one party reveals the secret by claiming funds on one chain, the other party can use it to claim funds on the other chain.
This enables trustless atomic swaps across blockchains.
Flow:
Alice generates a secret S and computes its hash:
H = hash(S)
The hash H acts as a cryptographic commitment to S.
Alice locks BTC into a Bitcoin HTLC script. The funds can be redeemed only if:
▪️the redeemer provides S such that hash(S) = H
▪️provides a valid signature corresponding to Bob’s public key.
Therefore, even though Alice knows S, she cannot redeem the BTC.
The script also includes a refund path: after a timeout, Alice can reclaim the BTC.
Alice shares only the hash H with Bob.
Bob verifies the Bitcoin HTLC and then locks ADA into a Cardano Plutus script using the same hash H, but with a shorter timeout.
Alice redeems the ADA by revealing S.
Bob observes S on-chain and uses it to redeem the BTC.
If Alice does not redeem the ADA, Bob can reclaim it after the shorter timeout.
If Bob does not redeem the BTC, Alice can reclaim it after the longer timeout.
The time window must be large enough for Bob to safely act after S is revealed.
Atomic swaps are not new. The first swap between Bitcoin and Litecoin occurred in 2017.
Bitcoin and Litecoin share a very similar scripting model, making interoperability relatively straightforward.
In contrast, Cardano and Bitcoin have fundamentally different architectures. Despite this, the team achieved a cross-chain swap purely through scripting, without using a bridge.
Atomic swaps must account for the slower chain’s block time and potential reorgs, which makes timing design non-trivial.
Congratulations to the team on this achievement.
I'd like to share a follow-up from my previous post about the changes to @YoroiWallet . The Yoroi mobile wallet update has been approved by the app stores and is now live on your device. We have removed Yoroi as a one-click option.
Surprisingly, the Chrome extension is still pending review. We'll keep you posted. Thank you for your ongoing patience and rest assured our team is moving as quickly as possible.
On a separate but related note, @JaromirTesar has invited me to join a discussion to discuss Cardano governance, and I want to acknowledge that publicly. It was a good-faith message and I appreciate it. @ItsDave_ADA and I also connected. These conversations should happen with an open mind and I am happy for them to be on the record. We will also extend the invitation to other active Dreps who care deeply about the ecosystem's direction and can contribute to the discussion.
More details, including the outcomes of these forward-thinking discussions, will follow. See changes to the mobile app below.
🚨 BREAKING: GOOGLE JUST ROLLED OUT "STITCH" AND IT'S INSANE 🤯
• Prompt or sketch to full UI in seconds. Describe what you want in plain English or upload a napkin sketch. Stitch generates complete, high-fidelity screens with production-ready HTML/CSS or React code using Gemini.
• AI-native infinite canvas with a design agent. Not a Figma clone. It's a new workspace where an AI agent reasons across your entire project, tracks progress, works on multiple ideas in parallel, and takes voice input in real time.
• Direct export to dev tools. Ships with an MCP server so designs flow straight into Cursor, Claude Code, Figma, and Google's Antigravity IDE. Closes the design-to-dev handoff gap that kills most AI design tools.
• Extract design systems from any URL. Point it at a live site and it pulls the design system automatically. Or use DESIGN.md (a markdown file) to import/export design rules across your entire tool stack.
