BREAKING NEWS: 22 Former international cricket captains have once again written a letter to Pakistan PM over the treatment for Imran Khan. They first wrote a similar letter in February and this one comes after Pak allegedly didn’t completely comply with SC directions.
They have laid down 3 demands:
1. That the medical board directed by the Supreme Court — including Mr Khan's own doctors — be permitted to complete a full and independent assessment of his health, particularly the reported loss of vision in his right eye.
2. That the weekly family visits reinstated by the Court be honoured without interruption or administrative delay.
3. That whatever the outcome of that medical assessment, the treatment recommended by it be provided without delay.
Three Indians - Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar are among the 22 former captains.

Please write to your MP and ask them to lobby Govt to get off the fence and actively object to this cruelty.

Without a meaningful intervention, the Pakistani govt will undoubtedly kill off @ImranKhanPTI simply because they know that for as long as he lives, he is a threat to their power and corruption
“I am being tortured. These people are not human.” - Imran Khan told his sister @DrUzma_KhanPK during their meeting last night at PIMS Hospital, as she revealed at today’s press conference.
Why is Imran Khan’s health such a confidential issue. Why can’t the authorities let his doctors see him with full public knowledge.
In 78 years of our existence never seen such draconian rule where the most popular leader cannot even see his own doctors.
Human Rights Organisations both local & international plus others need to raise the issue more aggressively than before.
Today marks 3 years since Imran Khan was unjustly incarcerated.
He is still being denied basic human rights and remains in solitary confinement.
His abominable treatment is an affront to democracy. I will continue to demand the release of all political prisoners, everywhere.
#PAKWatch🇵🇰: Today, during a protest for peace in Swat outside a police station, a SUICIDE BOMBING dispersed the crowd.
14 PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND 22 PEOPLE WERE WOUNDED.
PAK = 3RD WORLD.
FREE IMRAN KHAN.
TTP = TEHREEK TALIBAN PUNJAB
They're not fighting for Sharia-they're targeting Pashtuns. Look at the pattern, Pashtun civilians, Pashtun police, and Pashtun FC personnel are repeatedly attacked. Pashtuns should know that the TTP is their enemy.
The disturbing reports emerging from Rawalakot are consistent with the Pakistani authorities’ long history of unlawful violence against protesters in Jammu and Kashmir.
We urge the Pakistani authorities to restore all communications access and allow media and independent observers into the area.
