• Inventory write-down provisions remain low and stable at 5.9% (vs. 12.9% a decade ago).

• 77% of inventory is new product (up from 56% in 2016).

At ~9x NTM P/E, markets are pricing in a prolonged slump while business health is significantly better than expected.

This is the crucial unaddressed issue for $NKE. Their product quality was declining for years before the stock did. Cutting costs will always open opportunities for competitors to take your business. In this case, they exposed themselves to a fatal blow.

@Mayhem4Markets Well, how much has the cost of things you actually spend money on increased since 2020? Note what government is quoting as inflation, but how much more does home/car/insurance/food actually cost since then? Give me what that is in yearly inflation +1% and I’d consider it.

Look, its going to take years for people to understand this, but LLMs are useful when there is an obvious terminating condition, like math (is it correct) or writing code (does it run and give the required outputs).

LLMs dont have judgement, and never will have it.
