@labstamil Telugus made God of War. Even I feel TN should've made it.
We (or I) tried to say Murugan is Hindu god, and all Hindus can worship and celebrate him in their own good way.
What got conveyed was we are supporting Telugus against Tamils - anger understandable.
Some played naughty🤔
@cyborgg42@realitycheckind worse are scum like sansbarrier who pose as Tambrahm to
1. Bait Tamils, triggering anger towards TBs
2. Draws false parallels with Kashmiri pandits to downplay TB issues due to Dravidam.
Gult hindutva/nationalism is a trojan horse.

@MeluhhakangZ when someone - a Brahmin from some other state - says there is 'institutional' persecution on Tambrahms (did not say Tamil society persecutes Brahmins), he draws a false parallel with Kashmiri pandits and plays down what Dravidam did to TBs . https://t.co/NE3EeDS629
As a Christian who trust in Christ, I shouldn't talk much about lord Murugan yet I've the rights as a Tamil and I believe my lord Murugan is my forefather who rised to be a deity, you too shouldn't talk about Murugan sister since you trust Allah and Allah alone. @fathimafarhanaS
Schools were practically absent in Kalahasti Zamindari proper. barring a couple run by Christian Missions. Literacy was woefully low for Madigas and oppressed in his territories.
He was anti tamil brahmin with whom he had no direct relation they were dominant in Delta 400KM south
some of the worst edu/socio indicators in Panagal Zamin.. yet he spent his life baiting brahmins while did not move a finger to actually roll out education for downtrodden. This was the Justice Party alliance of elites.

தட்டேந்தி அய்யர் மறுத்துவிட்டாரா ..
After 2020 (Kanda Sashti issue) and 2025 (Tiruparamkundram deepathoon issue), 2026 is back with Sri Murugan (aka Skanda, Kartikeya, Saravanabhava & more).
In this debate, I presented:
- Evidence in literature (both in Tamizh & Sanskrit) how the devata has been revered and described
- Evidence of worship across India in different temples
I asked 'Fathima Farhana', the spokesperson of the party making this an issue:
(1) One section of Tamils has long claimed that Tamil was spoken across the world, and every piece of land was Tamil land. Let us assume for a minute, that this contention is true. Then the Himalayas are also Tamil. So what is wrong in saying He was born in the north? So what is wrong in saying He was born in the north? Silence from her.
(2) Fathima told me that Tamils have believed every hill belongs to Murugan (kundru irukkum idamellam kumaran irukkum idam). I then asked about her and her party's stance on Tiruparankundram (a hill too), where the lamp pillar (post) was not allowed to be lit despite the court orders? Silence again.
These people have no goodwill for Hinduism, also known as Sanatana Dharma. Their wishes are only for the religion they have converted to and their holy books. They have no respect for Tamil and its rich literature. When they fail to garner votes to win a single MLA or MP seat, their only way to fame is to create issues from nowhere. I just hope the public in TN see through their devious plans!
TN Tamil nationalist ecosystem is completely awash with pseudoscience and conspiracy theories. They’ve lost all touch with reality and don’t realize the irreparable reputational damage they’re doing to all Tamils. Our enemies are capitalizing on this. For our own sanity, I urge Eelam Tamils to stay out of this. For our collective good, I urge saner Tamil nationalist voices in TN to take control of the narrative and sideline these crazies. But irrationality seems to be a countrywide problem considering their sanghi counterparts think we’re part of some grand conspiracy with white Christians.
Regardless, let’s correct some common misconceptions:
- Tamil isn’t the oldest (spoken) language, let alone mother of all languages. Only losers obsess over being the most primitive while winners look ahead. All languages have evolved from ancestral languages but the rate of conservatism varies. The etymologies you see being used to establish mother-daughter relationship between Tamil and non-Dravidian languages are largely bogus from non-academic crackpots. The few exceptions were later loanwords from cultural exchange. Vocabulary is only a part of a language. It’s the structure that determines its genealogy and classification. There’s an established field of linguistics. Trust the science.
- Tamil isn’t the mother of Kannada, Telugu or other Dravidian languages, although it’s widely accepted Malayalam evolved from middle Tamil but not modern Tamil. Rather, it is the sister sharing common mother, just as Sanskrit and German both ultimately originated from the same proto-Indo-European ancestor. Yes, we never saw our great great great great…grandmother nor know her name but it would be foolish to doubt her existence.
- The Indus Valley civilization is the common heritage of all South Asians, not just Tamils. Even if they spoke a proto-Dravidian language, it was not Tamil.
- There was no kumari kandam and there’s no conspiracy to cover it up. It’s a mythology not supported by modern geology.
- The Brahmi script was invented by Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE to write Prakrit. Earlier dates in TN and SL are due to contaminated carbon dating. A few unique letters were later developed in TN to represent Tamil sounds. Therefore, all Tamil Brahmi inscriptions must be post-dated Ashoka.
- Earliest Tamil literature, the sangam corpus, is dated to the first three centuries of the common era by most scholars. They don’t predate that. Tolkappiyam, the first Tamil grammar, came a few centuries later and shows influence of Sanskrit tradition while also showing originality.
- Our modern Tamil Hindu culture has been heavily influenced by northern traditions while also maintaining much originality. The same thing happened in Cambodia: the Angkor Wat is the genius of local craftsmanship despite Indian influences.
- Dstocks don’t care about Eelam Tamil genocide not because they’re undercover Telugus but because of the general insularity of TN society. Majority of DMK IT cell abusers are Tamil OBCs, some Christians and Muslims. There are no Telugu Nayaks in Kandy. They were all deported back to South India. The assimilated South Indians among Sinhalese, majority being TN OBCs, don’t maintain a separate identity. The only South Indians in Colombo who supported our genocide were TN OBCs who hold grudge against Jaffna Tamils. Stop making up conspiracy theory to absolve the real culprits of their responsibility.
The irony of it all is that TN has the worst mother tongue literacy rate in India and virtually none of them can even pronounce the name of their own language. It’s the same illiteracy that’s driving the proliferation of misinformation. And how much more embarrassing is it for diaspora Tamils with an access to superior education to get their knowledge from a poorer developing society that still struggles to manage basic sanitation?
I understand many are also anxious to protect their cultural and political autonomy but there are better ways to do that than responding with your own cultural imperialism. In fact, it’s actually strategically counterproductive as it antagonizes potential allies against Hindi hegemony. But if you’re doing this as a coping mechanism for your low self-esteem, seek therapy. Don’t drag the rest of us down with you.
#WATCH | Indonesia: At a community event in Jakarta, President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto says, "I don't want to be involved in domestic Indian politics. I'm a friend of all Indians but I want to admit one thing and my close associates and colleagues will testify that I am a great admirer of Narendra Modi ji. I'm not a professional politician. The proof that I'm not a professional politician is I took part in five general elections. I lost four times... Even before I became president, I studied the policies of prime minister (Narendra Modi) and because there are no copyright, I copied many of his policies. But, Prime Minister Modi graciously, allowed me to copy his policies. So I cannot be sued in any court..."
He also says, "Indonesians must learn from the experience of India. Our civilization, our culture are strongly influenced by Indian civilization. Our language is around 50% from Sanskrit. Many of our names are Sanskrit names. Therefore, there is this closeness and, we welcome more close cooperation..."

About time 'old and wise' talk happens in TN. Cherry picking pieces of history, cooking up triggering narratives for the sake of building a political career has caused societal damage. Politicians should pitch on how they will improve Tamil life, not on who the enemy is.
All these separatists are indignant at the High court calling them mentals. The calls for Tamil separatism have little historical or practical basis today. Tamil pride ended in 1311.
The last major ancient Tamil dynasty, the Pandyan dynasty, entered terminal decline after Malik Kafur's invasion in 1311 CE, though remnants of Pandya rule continued for some years. Thereafter, Tamil Nadu came under successive non-Tamil ruling powers, while only smaller territories remained under local Tamil rulers, including the later Pandyas of Tenkasi and various Tamil polygars who functioned as vassals under larger kingdoms and empires.
Even in the last six decades of Dravidian politics, only Annadurai and Jayalalithaa were ethnically Tamil Chief Ministers.
For these reasons, today's separatist rhetoric appeals to a romanticized notion of the past rather than offering a realistic path forward. The interests of Tamils in Tamil Nadu and Tamils elsewhere are better served by participating fully in India's democratic system than by supporting these separatist voices.
Some want to celebrate the image even if its historically inaccurate, as a symbolic imagery of resistance. But why should we resort to celebrating fiction when real history itself is there? See:

Hmpf! The juvenile that JD entered in Master had a market at least since early 1900s. D kept it alive for the sake of politics, like a Bhavani. Vj saw fatigue, entered with a much better positioning towards that segment.
Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid. Democracy sucks.😵💫🫠
@labstamil@samskarebyaha The important parallel that one should see is
Jews killed Jesus hence Anti semitism is used and justified for the atrocities against Jews for millennia.
Missionary using the same play book.
Instead of Jesus it is St. Thomas , instead of Jews, Brahmins here. @IsraelinIndia
