I would like to express my gratitude to you for performing a high-level translation of the Episode 4 of the podcast. I have been avidly following your work for a while now. While do not post comments, I do reference your work very frequently.

Climb and I founded the Dojo Discord in late April after becoming investors in Metaplanet. We’ve been extremely passionate about the project and what the team is building, which motivated us to create a space where like-minded individuals could discuss Metaplanet in realtime.

Our next step was to create a podcast to expand our discussions and share research, charts, and insights with a broader audience. We reached out to potential podcast hosts to gauge interest, and after careful consideration, Climb ended up joining the Metaplanet Madness podcast. However, when Climb decided it was time for a change, I stepped in to co-host with him. This felt like a natural evolution of the discussions we were already having in the Discord community. As a result, the Metaplanet Dojo podcast was born.

It’s important to clarify that we do not seek any form of remuneration or sponsorship for the podcast. Our sole purpose is to share our enthusiasm as shareholders, just like you, and contribute to spreading awareness of Metaplanet’s potential. Since the inception of the Metaplanet Madness podcast and through the beginning of the Dojo Podcast, we have consistently considered translating our content into Japanese. We recognize that the Japanese shareholder base is both large and extremely enthusiastic, and we’ve received requests for Japanese subtitles to make our content more accessible.

Given that we have limited knowledge of the Japanese language, especially its nuances, registers, and technical vocabulary (e.g., Bitcoin, mNAV), we sought help by reaching out on X to find someone who could assist with translation. We quickly realized how challenging it is to find someone knowledgeable in these technical terms and capable of providing high-quality translations. While AI tools can help, they often fall short of producing natural-sounding language, especially in a technical context.

Understanding this, our aim was to engage fellow Japanese shareholders who have the expertise in technical terms and could review and refine the translations to meet a high standard. Each Dojo Podcast episode is about two hours long, which results in approximately 18,000 words per episode. Given the scope of the task, we realized that we would need a professional-level translator to manage this work and compensate them accordingly. It became clear that asking someone to take this on without remuneration would be unreasonable.

In our search for a translator within the X community of Metaplanet, it seems we inadvertently caused a misunderstanding. Both Climb and I reached out to different individuals, and when both offered to help, we had to make the difficult decision of choosing one. This unfortunately led to frustration, and we recognize that this situation stemmed from a communication issue.

We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and the frustration it caused. Our limited command of the Japanese language contributed to this misstep, and we genuinely hope to improve our skills in the future. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the two shareholder communities (those in the West and in Japan) because we believe both groups are highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and full of potential. We want to understand the market sentiment in Japan more deeply and connect with fellow investors.

Our intent remains to continue broadcasting the podcast episodes and to continue our efforts to provide accurate, high-quality Japanese translations for our content.
