A 30-day skill development and training programme in block printing is currently taking place at the SSF artisan centre in Songadh, Gujarat. After two weeks of training, 34 tribal women got trained in livelihood-supporting crafts.

A 15-day high fashion clothing and accessories training was conducted by NIFT in Gajrula, UP, for 60 members of the SSF’s Self-Help Groups (SHGs). The items fabricated were of high quality and were appreciated by one and all.

A big step towards women’s financial empowerment: 60 women previously trained in basic cutting & tailoring are now undergoing a high end training in cutting, stitching & surface embellishment. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has been engaged for this purpose.

Initiated by Smt. Mamta Singhania, President, Sparsh Social Foundation (SSF), a fifteen-day microenterprise development programme is being conducted at Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The programme will impart high-end tailoring and fashion design skills to a group of 60 women.
