Who's building truly affordable homes for the elderly? My choice to move out of my house to free up for a first time buyer are retirement flats. I could buy them but...they don't hold their value and my income could not cover the annual charges plus bills.

@sarah_go_green @jas_mic The problem is, none of us had to think about this 3 years ago, I've little idea at 76 so how youngsters should understand?? My gas and elec combined was £38pm, I never gave it a thought. Now in an elec only home it's 80+ not sustainable to dip into savings for bills

@sarah_go_green @g__j Yes I agree re Gregg, and like you I think COPs seem expensive and easily subverted by fossil fuel supporters but I suppose it keeps climate issues in the fore, as does Prince William's earth shot prize
