Tobacco Harm Reduction, Vaping and Kratom advocate. 🚬 free thanks to lemon candy flavored vape products. I also love Linux, tech and anime!

I read a lot of stories about how #vaping helped people quit who had tried every other method. My story is a bit different. I had no intention of quiting cigarettes but wanted to "smoke" indoors, which I never did due to the smell. Then after 1 month I stopped buying cigarettes

@w_terrence Alcohol prohibition did not reduce use. It led to a bootleg market that sold with no age-checks.

Cannabis prohibition did not reduce use. It led to a bootleg market that sold with no age-checks.

NOW zealots are demanding nicotine prohibition...

[Charles A. Gardner, PhD @ChaunceyGardner]

This is INSANE, particularly now that @US_FDA is authorizing nicotine vapes as Appropriate for the Protection of Public Health.

Look at @YouTube being TYRANNICAL! If you refuse to give real evidence of rules being broken, and offer a rebuttle time frame and then refuse to point to the actual breaking of rules, what do you call this? GrimmGreen has worked tirelessly to obey your rules. Shameful on Youtube!

[AutomaticFailure @AutoFail27]

@YouTube please manually humanly review GrimmGreen. If it wasn't for his knowledge and in depth insight, I would be on a self destructive path. He has been essential in my growth, health, and knowledge of harm reduction

[Kurt Yeo @Kurt_Yeo]

Hey, @YouTubeCreators and @TeamYouTube, can we get some hurry sauce on this and appoint an actual body to this case and have a conversation with @GrimmGreen? Grimm helped me on my journey to be smokefree, like tens of thousands of others. After 16 years, is that too much to ask?

[Adam Metelmann {BREEZETONES} @AdamMann14]

Perhaps immeasurable engagement over a decade with a 400k subscriber base and sharing real, informed decision information through his content- a level most health pro’s will NEVER achieve.

Deleting his channel isn’t safety, it’s a failure for community. @TeamYouTube

Fix this.

[MattFromSMM @MattFromSMM]

I think @TeamYouTube needs to be transparent about this. They give vague reasons that keep creators guessing and will strip away 16 years of work instead of having a rep clearly explain what needs to be changed to be compliant.

[Charles A. Gardner, PhD @ChaunceyGardner]

@YouTube moderators should pause and reflect on the INSANITY of terminating the channel of a man who has been helping people quit smoking for 16 years. It is, in part, thanks to people like GrimmGreen that US adult smoking dropped from 44-25 million over the past 16 years.

[GrimmGreen @GrimmGreen]

My last livestream of the year is happening tonight on @Twitch!!!

3:30pm PST

We're wrapping up 2025.

What events from 2025 should I be including tonight? Let me know. Hope to see you there!

[Vaping Bogan @TheVapingBogan]

@TeamYouTube this is so wrong. Get a real human to review this. This is not “protecting the community” by removing @GrimmGreen s channel

[Sorteal @Sorteal]

@TeamYouTube Please have actually humans take a look at this channel removal. This seems like a big mistake.

[GrimmGreen @GrimmGreen]

After 16 years, my @YouTube channel (GrimmGreen) was terminated today with no real explanation.

I’ve built my content around harm reduction, helping adult smokers quit, and advocating for science-based policies.

This feels like a huge mistake. If you believe in THR, free speech, and the mission we’ve been on, please help me get YouTube’s attention.

@TeamYouTube I’m asking for a real human to review my case.

I’ve never promoted anything illegal. I’ve never targeted youth. I’ve worked tirelessly to be a responsible voice in the vaping and harm reduction space. But like many creators in this space, it seems I’ve been swept up in an overly aggressive moderation wave.

@MLFootball How are there zero soccer players on this list? Honestly it should be mostly soccer players and I'm not even a huge fan of the sport.

[Sorteal @Sorteal]

@WestColoJones @Suzierizzo1 This is the best answer so far! I totally agree.

@Beggatime @NAmacher53202 @konstructivizm The 40 days to Mercury seems to be based on its closest approach with speeds rivaling New Horizons. If you use the same parameters for Venus it would take about 32 days. I'm not sure why the seem to use the closest approach to Earth for Mercury but average distance the rest 🤷‍♂️

[Sorteal @Sorteal]

@lizzieonline_ @ubuntu I figured someone would beat me to it 😂

GET THIS (SHORT!) BOOK. This new contribution from Dr. Mark Tyndall is a very accessible 161 pages. It tells harsh truths about the disinformation and cancel culture that harm so many, but also offers powerful reasons for optimism related to the lifesaving promise and future of tobacco harm reduction. Very pleased to have provided a supportive book blurb for this fine work.
