I promise there’s kids out there who try their absolute hardest to improve and don’t ever crack 1400. The people who do improve to 1550+ were just outliers with poor foundations

@jparkjmc The average score is 1000 (as intended). I know plenty of kids who did well in school off of pure effort but had poor SAT scores and were only able to marginally improve with lots of studying. The few who do study from 1000 to 1500s are high iq with poor academic foundations

@tomjank The real issue is when people outsource tasks to AI that they can’t or would sufficiently struggle to do on their own. This is where you are effectively trading your own intellectual advancement just to preform the task faster. This level of ignorance and laziness is terrible

@tomjank I agree with the sentiment but using AI to preform routine tasks isn’t really going to take a major hit to your critical thinking capabilities. Before the calculator you had to preform basic math manually. Now people outsource this to the machine. To some extent AI does the same
