@Coolblue_NL Doe jezelf een plezier en blijf weg bij @Coolblue@Coolblue_NL ; normaal doe ik dit niet zo, maar ik zie geen andere optie, dan om anderen “te beschermen”
An interesting article in @FrontiersIn#Immunology, but in particular an unconventional way to decide the order of co-first authorships! #supersmahbros

Virtually every aspect of the COVID vaccine, from the lipid nanoparticles to the mRNA technology, was developed in academic labs using public funds. But in the public's mind the credit goes to companies like Moderna/Pfizer. This is a missed opportunity to celebrate basic research
Some ideas in @CircAHA based on our past decade of research (with @NagareddyL and many others) that S100A8/A9 may be an effective target in people with CVD, obesity, diabetes or other metabolic disorders that become infected with #COVID19@BakerResearchAu@OSUWexMed @OzCvA
Results of the Maastricht Intensive Care Covid (MaastrICCht) cohort show that therapeutic anti-coagulation in COVID-19 is challenging.

We're still going... highlight no8 of 2019 ✨ - We launched #rheumjnlclub this year and we would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who contributed, esp @chriswincup! 📔 Follow @RheumJnl to keep up with the club updates --> https://t.co/Xd5aGom5S3
I would like to conclude with compliments @Mart64424191 and colleagues. It is always easier to 'respond' (with an Editorial), while they make a clear contribution with the GAIS in the process towards optimal measurement of acute gout attacks. #rheumjnlclub
@chriswincup@Mart64424191@SteZhao In line with this and the remark of dr Bukhari @drdj should we include 'time till relevant improvement' or 'resolution of attack', in GAIS? Particular in a disease that is self-limiting over time by nature #rheumjnlclub
@SteZhao#rheumjnlclub I definitely like the way you think, one of the key messages of the editorial is that inclusion of a more objective assessment (of tenderness or swelling) OR biomarkers (as prof van de Laar already stated!) will outperform current assessments/standards
@chriswincup@Mart64424191 I don't want to hijack the stage, but if we take a step back, instead of practice; clinical studies? I would be very curious about the role of the GAIS in, for example, T2T trials over (f.e. no. of gout flares, or gout impact scales (GIS) such as unmet treatment needs or concerns
#rheumjnlclub@Mart64424191 I am interested in your opinion on the positioning of the GAIS within the construct of an acute gout attack. Should it be considered as a patient global assessment or as a measure of inflammation?
#rheumjnlclub Bart Spaetgens here, co-author on the Editorial and happy to join for questions/discussion.
