Trekkers can rejoice. Tamil Nadu Forest Department is coming up with an online trekking trails Atlas to enable people to go on their favorite treks in beautiful TN by booking treks online. Initially 40 trekking routes will be made online. These are already existing trekking trails which have been reworked with local community to be jointly operated by them and TN Forest Dept professionally. Our individual and collective disregard for road safety standards, our unethical business owners who have sheer disregard for any sort of safety norms combined with corrupt government/civic officials keep leading to man-made tragedies that are ruining lives and families forever.

There's outrage, then things go on as usual for those who aren't directly affected until the next tragedy strikes.

We're all a lot closer to being victims of a man-made disaster in our country than we think we are.
