The NHS sees more pressure than usual over Easter and the 4 day junior doctors' strike threatens to cause significant disruption.
I urge @BMA_JuniorDocs to call off strikes and get back around the table to find a fair offer. Read more @Telegraph 👇

brat summer is over. now it's time for pannage autumn, the ancient medieval custom of releasing your pigs in the woods so they can eat the chestnuts and acorns that fall to the forest floor.
@MENnewsdesk Shout-out to the physiotherapists and OTs who work tirelessly to rehabilitate these patients... without them elective orthopaedic surgery would be pointless.

Rumour has it, the character leading Nigel Farage away is George Cottrell, an interesting chap, who may give some insight into Farage's 'anti-elite' Reform UK team.
(Btw, I don't agree with chucking drinks over anyone).
So who is George Cottrell?
Labour people rubbing their hands with glee over the Farage are wrong. He might offer short term tactical advantage but long term he injects poison into politics that will affect us all.
@DrLindaDykes@LizPeecock Can't be the CT2. Patient must be under a consultant nominally at least so they will have to carry the can even if they are lounging in the coffee room.
@mstotty88@Davemademedoit General surgery consultants also make decisions about risk management? How many unnecessary CTs/admissions could be avoided if the surgical consultant led the take overnight?
@doctor_dru_ This sort of spontaneous feedback is fantastic as you know it's genuine. Well done to you (and to the ID reg for spreading positive vibes)!
