@Cameron49368604 I can certainly relate to this. Growing up I only ever listen to pop music that I heard on the tv and radio because that was all I was exposed to. Now I can branch out and discover what I actually like all by the click of a button. #S22POPMUS
With the addition of streaming services, I am able to have the freedom to listen to and discover as many artists and genres of music as I want without any influence. Before streaming services, I would have just listened to mainstream music usually played on the radio. #S22POPMUS
@KathySenior11 I agree. People for sure have their own interests and enjoy their own different styles of music regardless of the mass media. Not everyone is going to enjoy pop music just because it's everywhere. People are going to listen to what makes them feel good and connect with.#S22POPMUS
@tajsquires I agree that there is often deeper messages through an artists lyrics. Taylor Swift is a great example in todays popular music. Her music is often about breakups and heartbreak and a lot of people can connect to her lyrics and her vulnerability she is sharing with us. #S22POPMUS
Popular music has created false needs most centered around fame and fortune. I disagree that it has propagated a dumbed-down form of music. There are popular artists in all genres, that work hard to create music that resonates with their audience on a deeper level. #S22POPMUS
@peddle_claire I agree, making time for sleep is important. It is vital for maintaining good mental and physical health. As we learned in the course, poor sleep is linked to physical problems such as a weakened immune system and mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. #HKR1000
Moodcheck showed my best moods are when I am with loved ones and my bad moods are when I am alone under pressure from school. Having relationships to confide in and provide that extra source of support you need, contributes positively to your mental and physical wellness.#HKR1000
@mdscanlon3 Reading food labels is one of the most important steps we can take to eat and live healthier. Instead of thinking we have to buy pricey organic foods to be healthier, we can simply limit the amount of fat, sugar, and cholesterol in our diets by comparing different foods. #HKR1000
Burnout is very real and can leave a person feeling exhausted, empty, and unable to cope with the demands in their life. Knowing the signs of burnout and how to effectively deal with it is important for a person's physical and mental wellness. #HKR1000

@finlay_brittany I agree that critical thinking is important in daily life. It also allows us to be open-minded and understand the opinions of others. Us as students, it's important to maintain healthy working relationships during our studies and after we graduate and enter a workplace.#HKR1000
The overall health and wellness of the class is good. It's alarming to see only 51.08% are able to deal constructively with their emotions. As students we experience positive and negative emotions daily. We have to be positive and see mistakes as learning experiences. #HKR1000
