@BenHundeyin Remember the Lagos broadcaster incident?
You said, "We’ll sanction the officer who misused firearm if proven…"
No update yet.
I hope you will provide updates on this one since there is clear evidence of the policeman hitting him with the gun.
Full video or nothing else.
What made Rufai threaten to call the governor?
It was definitely not because he was stopped coz he already admitted that he violated traffic laws.
This looks like a one-sided journalism.
We want journalism not synecdoche

Broadcaster Threatens To Call Governor On Cops
The video of the altercation between a popular TV broadcaster, Rufai Oseni and some policemen have surfaced.
On Monday, Oseni, had revealed that a policeman threatened him with a gun for driving on a dedicated BRT lane in Lagos.
But wait oo, how can a state that pays 35k as minimum wage, impose a penalty of 70k on anyone caught driving on a BRT lane?
No be juju be that?

We have all agreed that Rufai broke a traffic law but why point a loaded gun at an unarmed civilian? Assault rifle for that matter! What if there had been accidental discharge? On top N70,000 fine!
So the value of the life of an oxygen consuming Nigerian is not up to 70k.
Chai!
I offered to pay for the traffic infraction but the police was hell bent of forcefully collecting my keys and pointing a gun at me.I saw three other cars drive by the BRT lane and they were not stopped.I am at sea!Why point a gun at me and forcefully collect my key.I am shocked.
I started writing this article titled “Why Lagos?” and I am realizing that 🦇people will think that it is political but it is not at all. We need to think outside Lagos for Nigeria to be prosperous. The economic dominance of Lagos may be hindering our potential as a nation.
