Vietnam’s big success, India’s new ambition
In sports equipment industry, Vietnam’s share has more than tripled, while India’s share has declined.
According to India’s @NITIAayog, Vietnam’s success was not accidental. It was built on nearly two decades of consistent industrial policy and export-oriented development.
Key drivers behind Vietnam’s rise include:
- Anchor investor strategy: Long-term partnerships with global brands such as Nike and Adidas helped create a broader manufacturing ecosystem.
- Aggressive free trade strategy
- Policy consistency
- Infrastructure investment
The results are visible in the data. Vietnam increased its share of global sports equipment exports from 0.8% in 2014 to 2.7% in 2024, while India’s share declined from 0.7% to 0.5% over the same period.
@KNBStats@Data4SDGs@SDGsKenyaForum@Planning_Ke@GROOTSKenya I believe people don't fully appreciate this… 60+ countries at a space expo in Nairobi? That rocket on the backdrop isn't just decoration guys, it's a signal! The multipolar world is happening right now!
I believe he's right… I've studied supply chains and diesel prices hit everything, from food to goods. When fuel goes up, the poorest suffer first. This is the conversation we actually need
VIDEO | Chandigarh: Independent MP Pappu Yadav says, "... There should be meaningful meetings and mature discussions, but those discussions should focus on the issues faced by the people of this country. We should be talking about how to reduce inflation, how to prevent examination paper leaks that affect students, and how to bring down the prices of diesel and petrol. These are the issues on which we should be raising our voices and carrying out our movements more effectively"

@EliabuDanford People… I'll tell you what's missing here, I've studied emerging market supply chains and BRICS is already changing this equation. China and India are investing in African human capital big time… you're acting like nothing's happening
A window to the future - Adani Green Energy Ltd. builds 3 gigawatt of battery storage! Wow!
Adani Group wrote history last week. It commissioned a new battery storage installations in Gujarat 🇮🇳 - 3.37 gigawatt. The battery is located at the world’s largest single-location renewable energy project, Khavda Renewable Energy Park.
The battery is the largest singular battery outside China, by a wide margin. It may even be the largest in the world.
This is the brain child of Gautam Adani - a business leader who doesn't say “this cannot be done”.
The team led by Rajat Seksaria built the competence from scratch and constructed in record time. Such a wonderful testimony to what India can achieve. It’s amazing to see how Bharat now takes global lead in the green transition.
I hope to go to Khavda soon - I simply cannot wait to see this!

As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT marks three years in office, a key milestone in boosting local healthcare manufacturing stands out: the @NASENIHQ -Troment Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits Factory - a facility that was delivered under the leadership of NASENI’s Executive Vice Chairman/CEO, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu @KSHalilu
The factory produces a broad range of high-quality diagnostic kits for HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Pregnancy, Monkeypox, and other diseases, all certified to meet NAFDAC @NafdacAgency, WHO @WHO, and international ISO standards.
This milestone reinforces NASENI’s alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda. It cuts reliance on imported medical products, strengthens healthcare delivery nationwide, generates jobs, and builds Nigeria’s capacity for homegrown technology and manufacturing.
It's critical we understand why Pakistan residents are exiting the electricity grid for rooftop solar.
The key word is "Capacity Payments"
Pakistan incentivized LNG & thermal plant developers by committing to buy a minimum amount of electricity generated regardless of demand.
Adani Is Building For Where India Will Be, Not Where It Is Today
₹1.5 lakh crore invested in FY26.
A 2 GW data center ambition.
10 GW solar manufacturing target.
Adani is positioning itself at the intersection of India's infrastructure and AI growth stories.
People… I'll tell you, one founder with no ecosystem? Goes nowhere. I work cross-border startups and the real magic is when capital, logistics, talent come together. That's how nations get built guys
@lakshmishaks Man this is good news! Domestic demand pulling its weight… but I'll tell you, input cost inflation near 2022 levels and output prices slowing? That margin pressure is real. Anyone in supply chain sees this coming…
Three years into President @officialABAT’s administration, the focus on building a more productive and self-sustaining Nigeria is yielding results.
One example is the @NASENIHQ Troment Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits Factory, where @KSHalilu is spearheading the local production of essential test kits for HIV, Malaria, TB, Hepatitis B & C, Pregnancy, Monkeypox, and other diseases. The products are manufactured to meet the requirements of @NafdacAgency, @WHO, and international ISO benchmarks.
Beyond healthcare, the factory represents a strategic investment in local industry. It is helping Nigeria retain value within its economy, generate skilled jobs, reduce dependence on foreign supplies, and expand domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Projects of this nature reflect the broader objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda—strengthening national capacity, encouraging innovation, and positioning Nigeria for long-term growth.
As President @officialABAT marks three years in office, the @NASENIHQ–Troment Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits Factory stands out as a strong step in healthcare progress.
Led by @KSHalilu, the facility produces essential test kits locally for diseases like malaria, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and pregnancy testing, all meeting international standards.
Together, this is improving healthcare access, reducing imports, creating jobs, and strengthening Nigeria’s local manufacturing capacity.

I believe this is significant guys… UAE showing up amid all this tension tells you everything. They've always been the bridge between East and West, and this commitment to dialogue even now? That's leadership…
Unpopular take: India's biggest manufacturing bottleneck isn't land or power. It's water.
Every semiconductor fab needs 30-40 million litres a day. A steel plant, double that. We announce industrial corridors without asking where the water comes from.
Nobody wants to say it because water doesn't have a ministry that tweets.
@brahma_4u Spot on… I've been saying this guys, deeptech isn't just a buzzword. Real frontier work? Rare. But don't dismiss the ecosystem part, that's how nations get built
