Next song is live!
It's a gift to the whole team of @GridlessCompute

And finally here it is!
Power In Our Hands - Satronautt
I dedicate the song to the whole team of @GridlessCompute
Thank you for your energy.
It's a small gift compared to the work you have done to empower individuals. You are a true inspiration.
@whiteafrican@nduku_jay
@ecb This is the most hypocritical BS I've ever heard. It's the exact opposite & you know it. I don't understand how one could say anything like this and keep a straight face. Cash is private & you want to get rid of it
CBDC = opposite
BTC = Freedom money. You opposite it
Hypocrite
@elonmusk You won't be able to distribute it due to energy congestion. You can however monetize stranded energy using Bitcoin miners. Its basically a global wireless energy grid to monetize otherwise stranded energy. https://t.co/7g1WuuKW65 good example. @DSBatten for research. Study BTC
Thanks for sharing this @padjen
I emailed 21 representatives.
We must prevent this from happening AT ALL COST!
OPPOSE CHAT CONTROL!
✊
PREVENT A SURVEILLANCE STATE!
We are alarmed by reports that Germany is on the verge of a catastrophic about-face, reversing its longstanding and principled opposition to the EU’s Chat Control proposal which, if passed, could spell the end of the right to privacy in Europe.

Holy shit, you guys are not going to believe this one!
Lopp's post about BSV's 1GB OP_RETURN limit got me thinking about @GrassFedBitcoin 's recent tweets about the increased limit allowing people to add CSAM to bitcoin transactions.
It seems that immediately upon increasing the OP_RETURN limit to 100kb BSV had their first incident.
1/14
After arriving in Costa Rica, I visited the jungle-clad Poás volcano where Bitcoin had saved 150 acres of rainforest from leaving the family after 5 generations
How did this happen? - let's find out!
👇
I'm in BTC because I believe it's a fair monetary network. Because it's money.
Bitcoin is not supposed to be a decentralized data storage system.
I don't support illicit activity. I don't want prn0 on my node. I want to support 2 pears transacting freely without being debased.
This is the perspective that has gotten missed:
There is no context in which you would let random, anonymous strangers upload 100kb files to your computer on a self-regulating p2p network.
The constant appeals to censorship resistance are a complete red herring. Mempool filters have never resulted in censorship - But even if they did, censorship resistance can never come at the expense of people neglecting to take responsibility for what their computers are doing.
Here's what's different with OP_RETURN -
Old methods of storing nasty stuff in the chain required tonnes of obfuscation to work. The data necessarily would get broken into multiple chunks and someone would need to intentionally reconstruct it all and people naively relaying/storing it can plausibly absolve themselves of responsibility in doing so.
OP_RETURN at default 100kb size kills plausible deniability completely.
You're downloading, processing and uploading *raw* gigabytes of disgusting JPG and MP4 files.
And Core are (for now) deprecating your ability to do otherwise.
80 bytes of OP_RETURN is a couple of hashes or a 16x16 pixel JPG. No one can realistically do anything with that that's going to make running a Bitcoin node unacceptable.
100kb is a different story. That's a low quality video of God-knows what.
And I'm sorry, but having a neutral monetary network does not require treating all data the same way.
I am expected to discriminate against certain types of data in every context. I just usually rely on third parties to do that on my behalf.
Bitcoin doesn't work that way, it's on us to self-regulate and if we can't, running a Bitcoin node is going to be rightly stigmatized and no one is going to do it outside of tightly regulated environments.
70% of Americans can’t afford a median home. Why?
Broken money forced people to use real estate as savings, making homes unaffordable. Houses aren’t savings accounts, they’re meant to be lived in.
#Bitcoin demonetizes housing, drives prices down and puts families back in homes.
@natbrunell@PrestonPysh@21MMforthe21st Summary of what Preston said:
What you are feeding your environment is a reflection of your soul/who you are.
What are you feeding into your environment all day long? If you are unhappy with yourself start there & think about what you can change.
Control your inputs.
I believe that we can be The Sovereign Generation. If, In Yourself You Trust.
