I was ready to complain about a flight attendant who forgot my drink order twice and seemed completely distracted for the entire first hour of my flight.

She walked past me once without stopping. Came back and took my order and then came back with something I hadn’t asked for. When I pointed it out she apologized and walked away and came back 20 minutes later with nothing and apologized again.

I flagged her down a third time.

She said I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I don’t know where my head is today and moved on before I could respond.

I was preparing to fill out the feedback card in the seat pocket.

Poor service. Distracted. Unprofessional. The exact words I was going to use.

The man sitting next to me, who had been quiet the entire flight, leaned over slightly.

He said I wouldn’t do that if I were you.

I asked him why.

What he said next made me put the card back in the pocket.
