On behalf of CEHURD, @mujhu_care_ltd, and the @UGANDACCM through @TASOUganda, I welcome you all to the Regional Community-Led Monitoring Dialogue and extend appreciation for your participation in this important engagement. This dialogue serves as an accountability platform where community-generated evidence is shared directly with decision-makers to strengthen the planning, delivery, and improvement of HIV and TB health services.
As we engage today, I encourage openness, collaboration, and shared responsibility as we reflect on progress and co-create practical, time-bound solutions for better, more equitable health services.β
Our Director of Programs, @richardmuganzi, delivers opening remarks at the Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) Regional Dialogue, bringing together stakeholders from the Northern and West Nile regions of Uganda.

βThe HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Act seeks to balance public health protection with the rights of people living with HIV. It offers important safeguards against discrimination and supports access to HIV services, but some provisions on mandatory testing, disclosure, and criminalization remain controversial because they can affect privacy, autonomy, and the willingness of people to seek testing and treatment. For many Ugandans living with HIV, the law is therefore both a source of legal protection and a subject of ongoing human rights debateβ

It's feels good when platforms are created for advocates to share health community concerns with the people that amend policies, and ensure laws are in place such as MPs, ministers that we have today met.
Thank you CEHURD for always creating such platforms.
@cehurduganda
At SACE, environment and climate change is another top priority considering how strongly this promotes our livelihoods. Infographics is another means of awareness creation and advocacy.
The SRHR project starts with inception meeting with other partners organized by CEHURD at ESELLA county hotel. SACE is privileged to be one of the chosen partners in this social movement to amplify community voices on SRHR concerns.

In Bibia Upper cell; Yes VHTs, peers and local leaders highlighted SRHR, TB, and HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services delivery gaps in their cell and we crafted the locally led solutions on top of what they are implementing. Health systems are improving gradually.
SACE is positively impacting livelihoods by addressing identified gaps in TB, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services delivery with crafted locally-led solutions in Arua city through scorecard administration with support from CEHURD. Let's be partners in this.
SACE concluded the digital skills training of young people both nationals and refugees in Arua city and they went under UVTAB assessment for a national certificate. Digital literacy is a necessity in this ever changing digital era and economy. More to be assessed are training.

It's the journey we are on as SACE.
Health(SRHR, HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria), environment, and empowerment are considered in our digital skilling programs for young people.
Let's be partners
The power the nation needs to develop is equipping young people with digital skills that are impactful in their lives to thrive.
SACE promotes this through free ICT training at our ICT centre. Thank you Muni University for partnership under RETI PROJECT.
It was a great day of sharing insights on the strategies for partnership amongst C4C Local, National, International actors and donors plus local government come 2026, at the high level dialogue at Silver springs Hotel.

@cehurduganda Let's always engage boys and men at all levels of fighting gender Based Violence and not always look at as the perpetrators. When involved, they will always feel considered as not just perpetrators, but like consultants, and let's make them GBV prevention agents in communities.
Yes, SACE has been and is still impacting young people through digital skilling. Here we are doing it again under RETI project by Muni University, and our organization capacity to handle funds has been built by CEHURD and TASO since 2022 in GC6 and GC7
