Lots of reasons why this is great news. One is that it will help stimulate work. At the moment there is too much uncertainty about commissioning work. For most families it is a huge investment and until now carried too many unnecessary risks.

Exactly. Applied properly PIP enabled people to work, study and train and be productive members of society. Without it many would struggle to work, study or train so need even more support from the state.

This doesn't impact my limited companies, but is a valid point. Making Tax Digital should have been an opportunity to help the self-employed with support and training, that would also benefit HMRC. Instead it is entirely for HMRC's benefit while penalising the self-employed.

One thing you could do, PM, is give HMRC kick up the arse & immediately stop HMRC making self-employed pay for private software subscriptions for new Making Tax Diabolical regime. One more cost on enterprise. Give HMRC six weeks to design new software, free for self-employed.

@leedsjourno @PaulWhitehous64 The OH is 💯 right. The ports are what make it amazing. The cruise part is just OK. The only part I didn't enjoy were sea days. Hence my recommendation of a balcony. Take food from the overly crowded buffet and enjoy in privacy while reading and drinking on the balcony.

@leedsjourno The tips and drinks packages are worth it, but shop around for deals as can be included or heavily discounted. Cabin with tiny balcony is worth it as means you can escape cruise parts you don't like.
