So I bought a new MacBook Pro, upgrading from my M1 Pro 14-inch with 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM. I would have waited another couple of years, but just like taxes, I’m not expecting the price of RAM to come down anytime soon. I picked up a 14-inch M5 Pro with 64GB of RAM and 2TB SSD.

I also got the nano texture display because when in Rome, right? Holy amazing computer, Batman. The screen is incredible! Love it. It’s so fast! My M1 Pro was fast, but the M5 Pro is soooo fast.

Rage bait I know but I can use the track pads to play games from my couch I would have needed a mnk for. Example SWTOR which I can play from my steam deck only because of Valves genius of adding the trackpads. The controller is worth $100 and I hope they release a pro version sometime that is more premium
