Attacks on Leimakhong Area

For the 12th time, Leimakhong Area has been under attack by the Meitei terrorists on the 8th September, 2023, Friday . Unprovoked firing began from Koutruk, a Meitei village, and Bethel, a deserted Kuki-Zo village towards Lambung, situated on the L. Tangnuam hill range. Intermittent firing began from around 10:00 Am and lasted till 5:00 Pm. One unconfirmed death and many injuries from the Meitei side have been reported.
