Personal revelation is a tricky thing. People often use it as justification for breaking commandments and covenants.

It's the perfect excuse. After all, who are we to question someone else's personal messages from God?

I have been dumbfounded by what people justify in the name of "personal revelation," and social media is full of examples.

I've seen everything from violations of the Word of Wisdom to same-sex marriage and parenting.

Pres. Oaks recently said that if we don't have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost, we WILL be deceived.

I believe that much of that deception comes from those who are deceived themselves but believe (or pretend to believe) that they are being led by the spirit.

@jmillinmac Good luck!! I applied for mine, got pregnant, had a baby and then had my interview literally 2 weeks later. 🤣 I went in and interviewer told me I could’ve postponed and I told him I waited long enough already.

@jmillincook It’s not just you! My mom has had a hard time with guns also. She’s a Canadian too. They do a lot up there to brainwash us about it apparently haha.
