@philip_mantle@YouTube I thought these same people claimed they exposed it as a hoax years ago. I don’t know what really happened and I don’t think anyone really cares beyond this group of people. To me they appear to be obsessed with Travis Walton. It’s actually creepy.
The ufo conversation has increasingly focused on whether anomalous experiences involve interdimensional beings, angels, demons, or some other form of non-human intelligence.
Across the humanities, there have always been descriptions of forces that either diminish the human spirit or restore it. These forces have been reflected in our greatest artists through their mediums. Hieronymus Bosch, William Blake, and Michaelangelo always come to mind. So do Tibetan Buddhist motifs and Egyptian funerary art.
Ancient traditions also spoke of soul eaters. The healers who lived on the outskirts of society because they served a certain taboo function. Religious traditions spoke of angels who absolve sin, lift burdens, and guide people back toward wholeness. Psychology addresses trauma, dissociation, and integration. Different languages, but all pointing toward the same fundamental human concern: what helps us become more whole?
Whether an experience is ultimately psychological, spiritual, symbolic, or genuinely involves an intelligence beyond ourselves, we can trust in holism and evaluate these experiences by their fruits. Does it cultivate wisdom, compassion, humility, and a deeper love for life? Or does it cultivate fear, obsession, grandiosity, and despair?
I don't believe fear is the appropriate response to mystery. History shows that humans have always lived in the presence of experiences that could not be fully explained. Our task is not to eliminate the mystery of life or the enigmas within it but to develop discernment.
For me personally, healing has always been the antidote to fear. A person whose inner life is integrated, whose trauma is acknowledged, whose relationships are healthy, and whose moral compass is intact is far less vulnerable to manipulation—whether that manipulation comes from other people, unhealthy belief systems, or experiences we do not yet understand.
Rather than becoming consumed by questions about unseen intelligences, I believe we should become devoted to strengthening the human spirit. A healthy soul has always been humanity's greatest protection.
Perhaps the most important disclosure is not about what exists beyond us, but about what can be awakened within.
