Today was the day. After investigating gear ratios, rotational speed vs torque, and lifting force vs arm length, it was time for the Final Challenge of the STEM on the Ground curriculum. Cadets in Mobile, Troy, and Columbus performed admirably!

After jumping off a high dive, learning how to use OCP pants for floatation, and visiting Panasonic and Columbus Water Works, the GA Academy cadets got started building remote controlled robots.

Fantastic Veterans Day Ceremony at Baker High School this morning where former graduates and faculty veterans were recognized for their service. My friend and fellow 82nd Airborne Division vet, Reginald Wilson, was the honoree today! The JROTC Hornet Battalion hosted the event!

It was an honor to be the guest speaker at Murphy High School’s Veterans Day Ceremony! The JROTC program led by LTC Chevelle Thomas along with the school choir and dance team put on a magnificent performance! I even met cadets who were children of my former cadets! Getting old!

Beautiful Winter day for Mobile County JROTC cadets to participate in Rappel Training at the Fort Whiting Armory near downtown Mobile! Cadets were excited and apprehensive at the same time as they overcame their fear of heights! Great job cadets and Rappel Masters!
