In both the book and the show, he's surrounded and outnumbered. He asks for an honorable death in single combat, but his enemies refuse to give him the ending he wants. Instead, they kill him from a distance, denying the King's Maker any final act of glory.
The point is the same in both versions: Criston Cole doesn't die as a celebrated warrior. He dies abruptly, without the heroic last stand he expected. So if his ending felt sudden in the show, that's because it closely follows how George R.R. Martin wrote it.
Wild to see Brandon Davis hosting the Spider-Man Brand New Day movie premiere. Goes to show anyone can really make it anywhere. Even Brandon struggled back in his school days, he allegedly had to copy homework! To find out more, google “brandon davis exposed cheating high school”
this is INSANELY insensitive wtf??? you can’t go a few hours without inhaling your cancer sticks for the sake of someone else’s health?? he even went out of his way to get it as part of his LEGAL CONTRACT, CLEARLY ITS IMPORTANT. absolutely disgusting. selfish.
I just wanna give a shoutout to @FilmUpdates and @PopBase for holding the line and not posting about the Depp movie and standing with survivors. @CultureCrave@DiscussingFilm and whoever else is promoting that garbage man and project: do better.
Ppl hate him for it and his original interview was literally just “I think little people deserve genuine fair acting roles that aren’t confined to strictly dwarfism” he’s not saying don’t cast people with dwarfism, just make them actual characters not restricted to just that
@EnaBuns I unfortunately had the experience of watching it with a bunch of people who clapped 😔. Like first of all yes I’m happy that they enjoyed the scene but boy I think they were in the mindset of “hurr dee durr tom holland movie = marvel = must clap at epic moments”
