Yossi, 655 days have passed since that cursed day, and only now has the time come to bury you with honor in the Land of Israel.

During all the time we spent together in captivity, we shared so many experiences from our travels around the world, discovered many common passions, and imagined how we would leave Gaza, return to our families, and fulfill all our dreams.

You told me about your amazing family, who later became my family too. You told me about Nira and your daughters, and you always spoke of them with such admiration. From your stories, I couldn’t wait to meet them.

You told me about your brothers, sisters, and your mother, and you promised that as soon as we returned you would bring me the famous jachnun that everyone waits for every Saturday.

But in a single moment, just as the house we were in exploded, all those dreams vanished.

That day will stay with me until my last. I will never understand why, why I am here and you are not.

The three of us sat side by side, you, Itay, and me, and now I stand in the cemetery in Be’eri where both of you are buried in the ground.

I tried everything to save you, Yossi, but it was already too late. I am so sorry.

Thank you for the time we shared, for being by my side through the hardest moments, and for holding me when I broke down. Thank you for teaching me what humility and unity truly mean.

I promise to carry forward your spirit and your path for the rest of my life.

HORRIFYING: An investigation has confirmed reports of a ‘pogrom on the playground’ that occurred in Chicago on October 7th, 2025.

5 Jewish children between the ages of 8-13 were playing on a playground when they were approached by another group of children.

The group asked the children if they were Jewish, and when they confirmed, the non-Jewish children began yelling at the Jewish children, calling them baby killers and saying "f!ck Israel."

They then shot the Jewish children with pellet guns.

To reiterate: officials have confirmed that Jewish children playing in their local park were attacked because they were Jewish.

Two days after she used a photo of hostage Evyatar David as “evidence” of Israel’s abuse of Palestinian prisoners, Greta Thunberg quietly deleted the slide.

Celebrating October 7 is no different from celebrating 9/11 every year on its anniversary while cheering for Al-Qaeda to kill more Americans.

Rather than being a day of mourning and a stand against terrorism, far too many are turning October 7 into a global day of antisemitism.

If you can’t stand with us after Hamas massacred over 1,200 people and kidnapped more than 250, then at least let us mourn in peace.
