@LakinMacgregor I really like the way you ended that thought. Not all teaching methods work for all students; not all technology tools will be the best fit for them al either! #TLDEUNO2021
A4: I think the future is bright. This past year has proven just how effective EdTEch tools can be when implemented effectively! I am sure there will be growing pains, but change is never easy! #TLDEUNO2021
@MrsNightser It is so frustrating, because it is hard for me to plan out further than a week or so and I need to reserve Ipad carts two weeks in advanced it feels like. Uhg! #TLDE2021
A3: Be sure the material is grade level appropriate, make sure, think about internet/device access outside of the school. Even availability in the building(my school is not yet 1:1 with technology so I have to reserve Ipads and some days I plan to use them but can't)#TLDEUNO2021
@MsBond18@AlyssaJ87428916 Plus it is a great way to watch over multiple kids at once without having to stop at each desk! Apple Classroom is the best! #TLDEUNO2021
A2: My favorite tech ed. tool is Gimkit! This is a website that creates fun and interactive learning games students can play to review material before a test. It shows great class stats, and individual stats so it is fantastic for formative assessment! #TLDEUNO2021
@SNickolaison You have to pay an annual fee after creating 3 kits, but it offers kids power ups (or sabotages) to help keep them engaged- the more points they have the more they can buy!
A1: Education technology is an assortment of tools one can use and incorporate into a classroom to help enrich lesson plans and allow for a more interactive learning environment via technology. #TLDEUNO2021
My name is Sydney Zerzan; I teach at St. Robert Bellarmine as the 5th and 6th grade S.S teacher. I am comfortable with integrating technology into my classroom, the part that stresses me out is accounting for something like the internet not working/troubleshooting #TLDEUNO2021
