Twenty years ago we invaded Iraq. The war killed many innocent Iraqis and Americans. It destroyed the oldest Christian populations in the world. It cost over $1 trillion, and turned Iraq into a satellite of Iran. It was an unforced disaster, and I pray that we learn its lessons.
The Omanis are famously cautious. The Omani FM going on CBS to reveal what has actually been achieved in the negotiations is quite unprecedented. And what has been achieved is significant - Trump can indeed declare victory. Listen to this segment - it goes way beyond what Obama achieved.
But everything indicates that Trump won't take yes for an answer. That he will start a war of choice very soon.
Which is probably why the Omani FM decided to go public.
So that the American people knew that peace was within reach when Trump instead opted for war.
@Blue_Footy To be honest if Hato doesn't shit the bed for both goals then we probably have an ugly 3-1 win and everyone is happy. Performance by the team was actually ok or at least what you expect in a CL away match in Azerbaijan.
@Blue_Footy Almost every team runs more Kms than us. We don't have the work ethic or commitment. Rely on our technical ability but that only gets you so far. Maresca has instilled zero discipline or work ethic in this team, hence the red cards and only being up for big games.
@krassenstein They don't need Americans on their side. They will either not hold elections again or they will rig them. Why do you think Trump doesn't care about keeping his base happy anymore.
@redeemv10@Blue_Footy Mate if you think winning the Europa Conference trophy is an achievement then I don’t know what to say. If he had lost it it would have been the biggest humiliation in recent memory… that’s how highly the trophy is rated 😂. Anyway glad someone is drinking the kool-aid
@redeemv10@Blue_Footy Huh? So a team that wins the League 2 is as good as a team that wins the Premier League? His record literally lists the trophies he’s won.. they are not all worth the same 😂😂😂
@tovers98 We became world champions yes and it was great, but let’s not kid ourselves, we (Palmer) essentially beat PSG in a one off match akin to winning the Super Cup. Impressive but hardly a sign of huge progress. Was it some Maresca Masterclass or our star players turned it on?
@Ayoappeal@Philipmelo126 Answer the question, what is he really good at? For 100+ mil he should be really good at at least one thing probably way more but let’s start with one? Name one thing he is the best at the club at. Not even in the Prem… just the club.
@redeemv10@Blue_Footy The two trophies aren’t tactics, and one was a joke comp against non-league standard teams. The other was basically a one off game like the Super Cup. We beat PSG that was impressive but it was because we have one of the top 5 players in the world. Not the manager. Tactics??
@ConnorHolden00 If a company performs badly you can’t blame the employees you need to look at the CEO… good managers make their players play better, make better decisions, know what they are supposed to do, have a plan… all these things mean less mistakes. They are very directly linked.
