@stevenacook@ThanosDavelis An incomplete list: TR should end its occupation of Cyprus, stop violating Greek and Cypriot waters and airspace, recognise the Armenian genocide, cease aiding radical Islamic groups, respect the right of its Kurdish and other minorities, etc, etc
@mrubin1971@19_forty_five@AEIfdp Blinken is neither a strong leader nor a strategic thinker. Meanwhile, the State Department desks are amateurish, incompetent and/or infighting
@myildirim4017 @Moschovidis Let us not be naive. Unfortunately it is a competition of opposing geostrategic approaches. No matter the politicians in charge, the two states have rivals for 100 years
@sinan_ekim Thanks for sharing. The building of the 🇬🇷and 🇹🇷 nation states meant that ethnic minorities could not be allowed. 100 years later, despite the sacrifices of the exchanged populations and the things that unite our peoples, there is talk of War.
@lavahall @sfrantzman Turkey will not be allowed to blackmail NATO much longer, the stakes are too high and Erdogan has infuriated everyone. Sweden will enter within the year
@nords41 Outside outrageous statements, the major shift is the demand for demilitarized GR islands. But the many missteps (S400 purchase, pushing refugees into GR, involvement in multiple hot spots) indicate a combination of delusion and poor analysis, very worrisome in itself.
