From #Tigray to #Darfur, the same two governments are implicated in genocide. Governments must suspend arms transfers to Ethiopia until it ends this support and fully implements the Pretoria Agreement and enforce an arms embargo on the UAE until they stop their military support to the RAF and Ethiopia. Enforce the UN arms embargo on Darfur and extend it to all of Sudan.

Fleeing from one genocide to another: tens of thousands of Tigrayans who fled to eastern Sudan after November 2020 still can't go home, because the forces that expelled them from Western Tigray still control it. The same government they fled is implicated in the war that traps them.

The UAE has backed the RSF militarily and financially. The @UN documented credible reports of the UAE providing military supplies to the RSF as early as January 2024.

@amnesty verified that the RSF have Emirati-made Nimr Ajban armored vehicles, in what it called a likely violation of the UN arms embargo on Darfur.

The #UAE has supported both the Ethiopian government and the #RSF in committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide in Tigray and Sudan, respectively.
