Southern California is dealing with a wild fire in addition to being one of the ‘hot spots’ for COVID-19. The Apple fire in Riverside County, remained 0 percent contained Saturday evening.

In Florida, which now has the most COVID-19 positive cases in the US, there is Hurricane Isaias, which made landfall as I type this. Hurricanes are an expected part of the summer/fall in Florida, particularly South Florida, but on top of a worldwide pandemic? @awpaBrad

Due to the likelihood of lightning Tuesday, the NHS Diploma Ceremony will move to Wednesday the 29th at 5pm. It will NOT take place on the 28th.

Students should be seated on Memorial Field by 4:45 and wear cap / gown & mask. Dress comfortably & bring water. No spiked heals.

Parks & Forestry was out today working to beautify the Town fields. The crew conducted routine maintenance at Memorial Park including weed removal, grass mowing, edging and whacking.

Keep it Clean - Across the multiple parks and fields, crews are noticing increased amounts of litter. You can help by taking out what you take in.
Please utilize the trash receptacles provided at our parks & fields and do your part by not littering.

The Highway Division is conducting road repairs in the Paul Revere Road area.
This is one tool used by the Highway Division for pavement preservation.
Portions of the road were ground down and repaved with hot mix asphalt.
