It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
Memories of the All Britain Anti Poll Tax Federation (A.B.A.P.T.F) March & Rally. 30 (!) yrs ago today Seems like a different age now. Fighting all day in tunics, big hats & very light weight truncheons. Breaking rocks in the hot sun.... #CareerDefining#TSG#Mounted#StrapsDown

We've issued an image of a man we'd like to ID in connection with a specific incident during the violent disorder in Bristol on Sunday.
A lit item was placed under a police van, while an officer was still inside.

Many of us will be waking up weary, beleaguered & questioning why we bother.
Why we put ourselves in harms way & leave our loved ones worried sick, when they know weβre in the middle of it all.
Because weβre all #Blue we #HoldTheLine itβs what we do.π¨ #BristolStrong β¬οΈπ¦β¬οΈ π¨
Thinking of all victims and survivors & PC Keith Palmer today. 4 years ago but that day will never fade. The sight of the nurses & doctors appearing from St Thomasβ Hosptial over the crest of the Bridge running towards the injured and dying lingers the most ....Humanity wins.
Blaise, Windsor, Trinity & Somerset are all in Bristol today.
The rest of the boys have been left to put their hooves up for the day π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄π΄ #handsomeseven
Just in case our @ASPolice colleagues feel a little on their own right now, letβs remind them the #ThinBlueLine everywhere has their back. #BristolStrong β¬οΈπ¦β¬οΈ π¨
28 yrs ago today, there was sunshine in the sky and a smile on Timβs face as he went to buy Everton shorts. 2 men had other plans - to bomb a shopping street. Their plan succeeded but Timβs did not as his smile died with him on that dark day. RIP Tim x
HANTSPOL had a perfectly good Islander that suited their purposes pre NPAS. Sold at a loss. Runways is a red herring - they canβt even cope electrically to drive all the electronics without switching off some of it. Decent Air Support sacrificed at the alter of promotion.
Police paid Β£10m for four useless planes Who is responsible for this waste of Public Money? Who was in charge when the order was placed? Will there be consequences? https://t.co/s4Qr4fNDHb
