Noční útoky na řadu kulturních objektů včetně Kyjevskopečerské lávry odhalují čiré zoufalství a barbarství Ruska, které cíleně ničí to, co nemůže nikdy mít. Vyjadřuji upřímnou soustrast rodinám obětí. Ukrajina nyní potřebuje naši podporu, včetně uvalení dalších sankcí na Rusko.
❓Have you heard of the famous Cambodian Kampot pepper?
We visited farms in Kampot Province where this world-renowned pepper is grown. Due to extreme droughts and heatwaves production of this crop and the health of the farmworkers have been imperilled.
🗨️ “In the past, all this waste was a burden. Today, it gives us electricity and heat,” says a worker from Spreča Farm, a farm supported by our team at People in Need Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Russia’s Foreign Minister Lavrov says American diplomats should leave Ukraine—to avoid their blood thirsty bombs. In Ukraine now, I’m seeing firsthand brave American diplomats who refuse to be cowed by Russian bullying.
The victory of the opposition in Hungary yesterday, like the Polish election in 2023, is a victory for democracy, not just in Europe but around the world. Most of all, it’s a testament to the resilience and determination of the Hungarian people – and a reminder to all of us to keep striving for fairness, equality and the rule of law.
Today, my son and I went out to loudly and proudly voice our support for immigrant communities and an end to the senseless wars. Oh… And, we want the abusers and enablers in the Epstein Files held accountable!!!! #EpsteinFiles#NoKings
We asked students in Groningen a few questions about Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU.
Perspectives varied quite a bit, especially across different fields of study from politics to economics.
Part of what we’re trying to do with EyeOnBiH is open up more of these conversations.
@popculture72632@SnappyTurtle73 @theonenonly880 @glennbeck@grok So, by your logic, soldiers and veterans receiving benefits would not be able to vote, right? What about a college student receiving financial aid?
I’m pretty sure our veterans and the future of our country have a hell of a lot of skin in the game.
Srebrenica Memorial today marked the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, paying tribute to the millions of victims of the Nazi and Ustaša regimes during the Second World War. On this occasion, they also remembered eleven people born in the municipality of Srebrenica who, according to the list of victims compiled by the Jasenovac Memorial Site Public Institution, were killed in the Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška camp system between 1941 and 1945.
Born in the Municipality of Srebrenica and killed in the Jasenovac camp system were: Purković Šefko (1900, Muslim); Jovanović Drago (1936, Roma); Jovanović Neđo (1930, Roma); Dragelj Cvijeta (1900, Serb woman); Jovanović Ruža (1883, Roma woman); Jovanović Sofija (1935, Roma woman); Marinković Zora (1911, Serb woman); Popović Savo (1882, Serb); Popović Velimir (1916, Serb); Radosavljević Juga (1932, Roma woman); and Radosavljević Muta (1925, Roma woman).
These names remind us that the crimes of the Holocaust and mass violence affected people of different nationalities and religious backgrounds, and that the history of persecution and dehumanization did not happen far away, but deeply impacted local communities as well. Remembering the victims remains a lasting obligation, not only as an act of respect for those who suffered, but also as a warning to contemporary society about the consequences of hatred, exclusion, and systemic violence.

80 years ago, 50 nations met in San Francisco, USA, to create a new organization for peace, prosperity & human rights.
The ideals laid out in the Charter remain as relevant as ever. https://t.co/swaalYr2Ar
Today I joined the #NoKings protest.
Because the actions of this administration don’t just happen in Washington — they reach into our homes, our families, our work, and our communities.
I am proudly American — and I will proudly stand up when I disagree.

Alina, 16, has not stepped into a classroom for almost four years.
Russia’s war on her home has forced her to study online—isolated from her classmates, her teachers, her school.
Yet she has not given up on her dream of education. Alina’s story is not unique. Hundreds of thousands of children in #Ukraine have lost safe access to education.
With your help, @people_in_need can change this. We are creating learning spaces, training teachers, and giving children the chance to keep learning.
As we mark the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, let’s remember that every child deserves a classroom, not a battlefield.
👉 Stand with them. Donate today and help preserve the future of an entire provide the access to education they deserve. https://t.co/hpxJAXlAMD
