The first picture is 40 years ago my FATHER running with my sister in her first race.

The second is a couple days ago my FATHER at age 66 running his 500th race with my sister.

At 24 my dad broke a generational curse of alcoholism & swapped drinking with running, biking & lifting.

He & my mom ran marathons together.

He’s coached & mentored youth for 40 years.
He’s run a dozen full marathons & 50 1/2s.

In high school when he was 48 he would play full court hoops & more than hold his own with me & my friends.

My dad is referred to as THE LEGEND.

Every great quality I have in life was INSTILLED in me by him.

His birthday is tomorrow.
