@WokeLuigi@TheDoomedDog85 "Does this mean it's not meant for other people? No."
*says while the original context is about a vender selling "Criminalize Christianity" stickers at a furry convention*
@r_kyle86849@N64iac "Hey you know that prized posession that you've held onto for decades from a simpler time when you were a kid with no worries? Well fuck you, just buy the new slop and move on"
My bad there, I grew up watching the show as a kid, crying to Pokemon 4Ever with Celebi at the end, thinking Mystety of Mew was the best movie ever, and playing every gen from 1st to 8th then giving up at 8th gen after years of stagnant gameplay. Totally a LARPer
Plus I own a copy of the board game Pokemon Master Traner and have played it with family and friends, tis fun but hella toxic, lol
@Verliswolf@RealLifeFakeWiz "Any silly challenge"
The motto of the entire series is literally
"Gotta catch em all"
Shutting this down makes it impossible to "catch em all" and your solution is "just use cheats lmao" instead of bashing the greedy multi billion dollar company because they want more money.
The "racism" comes from the fact that this skin is only Epic rarity in Rivals, meanwhile nearly the entire rest of the white female cast (and a black man) have gotten Legendary tier skins, meaning they're flashier and have sound effects, and are more expensive
They are mad that Storm gets a cheaper skin that's less flashy.
@AlbinoVEVO Been dealing with something like this with Ragnarok for years. Anytime an even remotely successful private server gets too popular, their owners GungHo go literally Gung-Ho and nuke it from orbit while vanilla Ragnarok is a gacha infested microtransaction P2W hellhole
@AnAverageGamerX@TranquilityDraw Dude, I see your dumb takes all the time cause I like Palworld posts but this is the dumbest so far
Pokemom Legends: Z-A and Pokemon Legends: Arceus are two different games. You're so mind broken by Palworld that you can't even get your ragebait right.
Go touch grass, please.
@AnAverageGamerX Do you not realize that is exactly why a lot of us love Palworld in the first place? Personally for me, I got sick of every single mainline Pokemon game being slow, turn based RPG's, and I gravitated to Palworld cause it is a fast paced survival/shooter game with RPG elements.
@SCRadius05 If you go to the Sakurajima Island, the Yakumo's aggro onto the Chillet Ignis's on sight so whenever I see it happen, I make it my mission to save the Chillets in any way I can, lol
@IncineroarAlola@cajun_kilted Never said you are wrong that Palworld hasn't reached 1 mil. Just pointing out that having the #1 highest player count on Steam (for a bit, it's now #2 behind CS2) and the #1 highest selling Steam game (if you don't count CS2 cause F2P vs $30 game) is still amazing.
@IncineroarAlola@cajun_kilted 1. Monday, people going back to work. (Heck I'm making this post while on break at my 12 hour night shift job)
2. Palworld has the #1 highest player count on steam right now, beating Steam only F2P games while still being fully cross platform with Epic Games/Playstation/Xbox
@_bazztek Two things can be true at the same time
-I love Pokemon and want Pokemon games to be better
But until then
-I will continue playing Palworld as it is my current favorite game right now period
@SirozenR Nah, I'm having a great time with Palworld 1.0 so far and it's my current GOTY. I do hope Winds/Waves is good since I never want to see a bad game (especially from my prior favorite franchise), but I don't want to spend $500 on a Switch 2 and W/W just to hope it's good
@Unluckybones@Rukia_Shikon I'd say you're doing it right because Pokemon and Palworld are two completely different games. Pokemon is a slow turn based RPG and Palworld is a fast third person shooter with RPG and survival game elements. The only similarity is throwing balls to catch cute/cool creatures.
I'm a massive Palworld supporter and ex-Pokemon diehard, but I would go even farther and say that the only reason why Palworld even exists and has succeeded so much is because of Pokemon, which is just obvious to admit.
Pokemon popularized the monster catcher genre, and Palworld created their own survival game flavor to the monster catcher genre.
