It’s been a month since beginning my new post within a memory service and so far so good. Besides having to tell clients they have a dementia, I’m really enjoying the ways in which we empower our clients. The team are amazing and there’s lots to learn. Thankful ☺️🙏🏾

First week at my new job within the memory service and so far so good. The team are lovely and very supportive of one another. The assessments are lengthy and requires a lot of patience on both ends but so worth it. Looking forward to shadowing the other teams

Last week working as a care-coordinator. I’ve learnt all lot of skills and grateful for the opportunity. On that note I don’t think I will ever do this role again. It personally caused me a lot of stress & anxiety. I would go home and cry lol

when I was a student. An educator told me “I push students so they can end with good results” but acc I was pushed to the point I considered maybe OT is not for me. Please know the difference between pushing someone to do better & pushing someone downhill. #OT #studentplacements
