The Whole-Person Approach
"Medicine can heal the body, but it is support, advocacy, and understanding that heal the spirit.
Our healthcare systems must embrace the whole-person approach.
Patients deserve more than clinical care—they need compassion, guidance, and support."
To Whom It May Concern,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to YOU during this difficult time. Experiencing loss, in any form, is profoundly challenging. Whether it is the loss of a loved one, the end of a cherished relationship, financial instability, a chronic illness, or the shattering of long-held goals, each of these losses brings its own unique pain.
It's important to recognize that grief and the emotional responses to loss are deeply personal and can be overwhelming. Your feelings are valid, and it's okay to take the time you need to heal.
However, if after a year you find yourself unable to move forward and your thoughts about the loss are constant and debilitating, it may be a sign that you need some additional support.
This doesn't mean that you are weak or failing in any way; it simply means that the burden you're carrying is too heavy to bear alone. Seeking help from a therapist, counselor, a caring friend, or support group can provide you with the tools and support you need to navigate this difficult journey.
Please remember, you are not alone in this. Reach out to those around you and lean on them for support. Take small steps each day towards healing, and be kind to yourself in the process.
Healing is not linear, and it’s perfectly okay to seek help when you need it. You have the strength within you to move through this, and brighter days will come.
With compassion and support,
@Umwegamirwa
I am glad to meet and exchange views with @AmieBatson, the President of @womenlifthealth. The conference has been a good learning ground, inspirational and we were able to appreciate north-south efforts towards raising and sustaining the profile of women in health and women health leaders. #ReimaginingLeadership #WLHGC2024
Pumzika salama Mzee wetu. Poleni sana wanafamilia na watanzania wote.
"Hili suala sasa hivi linatisha, mabinti wanatumia hizo P2 kama unavyotumia panadol yaani hakuna utaratibu, tutafika wakati mabinti hawa hawataweza kupata watoto, je serikali ina mpango gani wa kutoa elimu kwa hao mabinti ili wajue matumizi ya P2 pamoja na hizo 'Energy drink'," - Mbunge Dkt Thea Ntara
