📖 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀
by Imām Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb
Explained by al-ʿAllāmah Ṣāliḥ al-Luḥaydān, may Allāh have mercy upon them both.
Arriving in shops soon, in shāʾ Allāh.
In it, the Shaykh:
🔹 Opens with the history of Najd: a land that had no state of its own until the call to Tawḥīd united it and carried its influence to India, al-Shām, Iraq and the Far West.
🔹 Shows how gratitude is shown through speech and action, and why health and free time are blessings many lose.
🔹 Gives heartfelt advice for when you fall into sin: know that you have a Lord to whom you are accountable, so flee to Him sincerely and seek His forgiveness.
🔹 Brings the principles to life with the people of Sabaʾ and Bilqīs, who prostrated to the sun; the righteous men of Nūḥ's people, Wadd, Yaghūth, Yaʿūq and Nasr; and who al-Lāt really was.
Grounded in the Qurʾān and the Sunnah, and fully referenced.

Al-ʿAllāmah Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān, may Allāh preserve him, said:
“If a person acts upon the Qurʾān, even if he has not memorised it, then he is from the people of the Qurʾān.”

May Allah bless the community @masjidulbayaan and Sh Jazāiri and Sh Ahmad for yesterday's program.
I advise that their lectures on the explanation of Surah al-Ikhlas and Surah al-Kāfirūm should be benefited from.
Two short lectures on 2 short chapters of the Quran that we recite continuously. Busying ourselves with these small benefits can bring great benefit to our relationship with Allah, and save us from wasting time on wasteful matters.
There are famous lines of poetry attributed to ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib when he saw Fāṭimah using a miswāk:
حَظِيتَ يَا عُودَ الأَرَاكِ بِثَغْرِهَا
أَمَا خِفْتَ يَا عُودَ الأَرَاكِ أَرَاكَا
لَوْ كُنْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِ لْقِتَالِ قَتَلْتُكَ
مَا فَازَ مِنِّي يَا سِوَاكُ سِوَاكَا
“O stick of arāk, you have attained her lips!
Were you not afraid that I might see you?
Had you been one who could fight, I would have killed you;
None has overcome me, O miswāk, except you.”
This was an expression of affection and protective jealousy that even the miswāk touching his wife’s lips became the subject of playful jealousy.
But now?
Some men photograph their wives, display their beauty and private lives, and broadcast them to thousands, sometimes millions, of strange men online.
What happened?
🔴 "Pakistan fully stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both diplomatically and physically, and I would like to underscore here the word physically... We will go to any extent." — Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry told The Arab News.
Allāh (the Most High) has said: “Cooperate with one another in righteousness and piety…” (Al-Mā’idah 5:2)
Alhamdulillaah, during our time in Madinah we made our way to Masjid Quba, where we were able to catch ‘Ishaa prayer together.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Quba and prays in it, will have a reward like that of ‘Umrah.” (Musnad Ahmad)
After the prayer, we spent some time at Maqsad Quba, a nice opportunity for the group to sit together, relax and learn a little more about some of the developments taking place around this historic part of Madinah.
We were given an insight into the wider project around Quba and the efforts being made to make the area more welcoming and accessible for families and visitors. From Quba there is now a walkable route stretching around three kilometres towards al-Masjid an-Nabawi, alongside dedicated spaces for walking, transport, cafés and places for families to spend time together.
Our brother from @MadinahDate also gave us a fascinating introduction to the dates of Madinah. He explained the growing and harvesting seasons, the difference between the fresh rutab and dried tamr, and some of the different varieties grown around Madinah. We were then able to sample Ajwat al-‘Aliyah, Barni, Sukkari and Ajwa for ourselves.
We also enjoyed some talbina ice cream and tea. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said regarding talbina that it “gives rest to the heart of the patient and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.” (Sahih Bukhari)
The children then had the opportunity to enjoy the play area while everyone else had the chance to sit together, explore the surroundings and enjoy a more relaxed evening.
We were particularly pleased to hear about the ongoing efforts to make Madinah a welcoming place for its visitors, while preserving its history and identity.
May Allaah reward the rulers of Madinah and all those involved in these beneficial initiatives, bless their efforts and continue to make this blessed city a place of benefit for its residents and visitors.
The minbar of Masjid Tawheed wa Sunnah in Durham NC was crafted by our brother Abu Amatullah Abdur Rahman Wheat back in 2002. He was killed in Damaj by the evil Houthis during guard duty November 26, 2011. May Allah forgive him, have mercy upon him, grant him martyrdom, and grant him the good reward for the use of this minbar.

Shaykh Rabīʿ bin Hādī:
“By Allāh, if the Yemenīs surrender to the Houthīs, Islām would be lost completely. Yemen would become like Iran, and even worse—enmity for the Companions, a war against the Qurʾān, and a war against the Wives of the Noble Prophet (عليه الصلاة والسلام).”
