@KristenBar2019 I think that the dice activity for writing and reading are both very valuable in the classroom! Rolling dice would allow for students to engage in authentic movement and provide them with the writing prompts needed! I had never thought of using dice in literacy! #edel339
Students need to feel that they belong in order to engage in higher level-thinking tasks! It is imperative that as teachers we create a classroom in which our students feel safe, valued, and heard! They should know that they matter when they walk through our door! #edel339

For Valentine's Day, I wrote each student a note about what I love and appreciate about them! One parent found me after school and told me how much this meant to her child! Build those relationships with students! It is the little things that mean the most! #edel339
