@itsolelehmann It’s hard to take anything you say seriously when you start with a list of double negatives that end up making your post confusing. Especially since the rest feels oddly curated, so you probably proofread it.
@SteveOnSpeed If you’re looking for a guinea pig, I’m happy to sign a contract for that for 2025. And, unlike the rest of the folks in this thread, I won’t hire squirrels or sherpas, I’ll actually do it!
@tyromper You realize this integration has been around for over a year right? Should read “BREAKING NEWS (for me)!!!” Also, curious, how did this make sheets “100x” better?
@freetobook, I've tried signing up/registering for your service for four days now. Apparently, I cannot be approved on my own. You all need to approve me. What's taking so long?
@BryceWGarcia Are you trying to argue that there are no negative externalities of the work you do? Genuinely curious. Your tweet thread appears to assume that everything you do has a positive effect, while ignoring the downsides. Municipalities, while slow, will catch up.
@BryceWGarcia I live in and own businesses in a county with tens of thousands of STRs. Tourism keeps growing but the local population keeps decreasing. The “solution” now is business staff with J1 students who live in old hotels to serve the tourist. No affordable housing to live in long term.
@BryceWGarcia No one says that. The argument is that STR destroy the local community. When no one can afford to live there, it has negative effects on the community as a whole. Less families move in, businesses struggle to find reliable workers, schools close down, little league is no more etc
@Gautam__Baid@morganhousel I’ve read a lot of Morgan’s works, but this wasn’t my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, there are lots of keen insights within, but the choppy nature reminds me how short American attention spans have become. Color me old school, but I like his book more than this.
