someone really needs to start pushing folks to define what they are talking about when referring to "roi" and/or "productivity". the issue is that more code does not necessarily equate to more gross profit - and until someone can show that github pr's are decent proxy for incremental gross profit, claims about roi require a pretty big leap of faith, imo.
if you read this and think i'm dead wrong - would love to hear why/where/how...dm's wide open
@openacti1
Group chats are chaos -someone says “where should we eat” - suddenly everyone’s jumping between Maps, Google,Yelp, Resy and Opentable
With Acti you can just type “casual Italian near downtown open now for 4 people” → hold spacebar → recommendations + links drop straight into the chat.
No more copy-pasting or bickering - it's works like the keyboard should work.
@openacti1 what do you think?

Kinda wild how wrong most energy experts were about the Straits of Hormuz.
What were the root causes of the error? China had more reserves than anticipated, US flexed up exports faster and more ships were actually transiting the straits via the Omani route?
Genuinely curious.
no one has a clue what the economics of inference are going to be in 3-weeks much less 3-months or 3-years.
and by no one - i mean not the brainiacs doing breakthrough research at labs, the professional podcasters on sandhill, or the c-suite in seattle. if someone thinks otherwise - I would love nothing more to go through the facts/figures that have you convinced.
DMs wide open - mean all of this genuinely, please do reach out if you think you've got the puzzle pieces all put together.
@AOC The idea that all billionaires got their money by exploiting peopl doesn't hold up to any scrutiny.
JK Rowling wrote books about cheeky wizards. I invented a better way to make virtual reality headsets and games to play on them. We just made things people wanted.

Day 1 of tweeting until someone responds to me.
- Is iyo still in business? If yes, are you still planning to ship the Iyo Ones? If yes, can you give an update on where they stand? I pre-ordered + put down the deposit nearly two-years ago in May 2024. Next message I have is from January 2025 with an update that the delivery timeline had been pushed to August 2025. Since then - just crickets.
I searched my inbox extensively - found nothing. I sent numerous emails - no response. I called customer service line - mailbox was full. I even reached out on linkedin - still no bites.
Hate calling you guys out in public - but can't think of anything else to do. I was happy to provide an interest free loan, via a deposit, to fund working capital as things got off the ground. But after nearly 24-months, its time for either an update or refund.
I get it - shit happens & timelines shift. I don't need the product tomorrow - just want some reassurance that I'll have a sweet pair of ai headphones at some point in the future.
