I got to see a side of Narendra Modi that we have not read in the media so far.
Exploring beyond headlines, our interaction with PM @narendramodi offered fresh insights.
We had an extensive 90-minute conversation, far beyond the expected 20, it was an opportunity to see beyond the prevalent narratives.
PM Modi engaged deeply, showing preparedness and passion, addressing even the most challenging questions with thoughtful responses. What I personally liked, is that when he was talking to us, there were no distractions, and he was completely focused on our talk. No phones. No notes. Nothing.
It was a dialogue that revealed a dedication to discussing India's path forward with clarity and vision.
India's journey is complex, marked by challenges and opportunities alike. Our discussion highlighted the need for strong leadership to navigate this landscape.
As talk of a potential third term for PM Modi circulates, it’s crucial to consider the road ahead for India's global ascent and internal challenges.
My best wishes, Mr. Prime Minister.
And yes, for those asking —the last Indian PM featured on the Newsweek cover was Indira Gandhi. Now — Narendra Modi.

BREAKING: USCIS just dropped a seismic green card shift. Most temporary visa holders must now leave the U.S. and apply for an immigrant visa abroad.
Agency says it’s closing a loophole: “Your visit should not function as the first step in the Green Card process.”
But a Community Note torches USCIS’s justification. The law explicitly allows adjustment for those “present in the United States.”
The 1940 Nationality Act required permanent residence petitions in U.S. courts, not consulates. The “original intent” claim crumbles 2/3
This isn’t a clarification; it’s a rewrite that could strand millions in limbo abroad.
Critics say it weaponizes the immigration system against those who followed the rules. A legal battle is inevitable. Stay tuned.

Nonimmigrants, like students, temporary workers, or people on tourist visas, come to the U.S. for a short time and for a specific purpose.
Our system is designed for them to leave when their visit is over. Their visit should not function as the first step in the Green Card process.
Huge story out of @FBIBoston - the FBI shut down a massive scam call center operation out of India that targeted elderly victims here in America, and two executives have now pled guilty in the investigation.
These people defrauded hundreds of elderly Americans out of millions using tech support scams. This FBI dismantled them.
Senior scams are one of the most important but under-discussed issues in the country - here at the FBI we’re dedicated to cracking down on it with our interagency partners. Please check in on your loved ones and report any suspicious activity you may see to law enforcement - 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Unprecedented but much needed, coming straight from none other than the Prime Minister of India himself.
Perhaps an important lesson for leaders on how to communicate directly, effectively to counter any misinformation/disinformation in the present era. Especially in times as critical as these.
This is totally false.
Not an iota of truth in this.
There is no question of putting such restrictions on foreign travel.
We remain committed to improving ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and ‘Ease of Living’ for our people.
I welcomed Prime Minister @narendramodi to Abu Dhabi for talks aimed at further strengthening the deeply rooted ties between our nations and peoples. The UAE and India share a longstanding strategic and economic partnership, and our discussions today focused on ways to advance cooperation in priority sectors including energy and technology. Together, we remain committed to driving lasting progress for our countries and promoting peace and stability throughout the region and the world.
Major escalation: U.S CENTCOM confirms month-long blockade of Iranian ports. 67 ships turned away. Warning shots fired.
This goes well beyond “maximum pressure”, it’s now a naval siege.
Modi govt is tirelessly working for cyber secure Bharat.
Mule accounts are big hurdles in curbing cyber crimes. Today, the I4C under MHA signed an MoU with Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) unleashing the power of Artificial Intelligence to combat cyber fraud. The move will swiftly detect and cull hidden mule accounts by feeding the data from the I4C's Suspect Registry to the AI-driven fraud detection system and serve the citizens as their next gen shield against cyber crime.
Those celebrating what they perceive to be a difficult situation for 1.4 billion Indians and the nation’s energy sector should introspect.
While damaging their credibility, the panic, fear and rumour mongering they have consistently indulged in, will only take them this far and no further!
There is no crisis in India.
PM Sh @narendramodi Ji has only advised the citizens to moderate energy consumption to prevent any fiscal strain on the economy, not because we had issues with energy supplies!
It was a word of caution and prudence.
One can understand their desperation but those opposing India’s confident journey ahead should do some homework, and understand the issues before jumping in celebration.
While crude prices have nearly doubled globally, impacting even the most developed economies, India has held petrol and diesel prices with continued fuel availability across more than 1 lakh retail outlets and uninterrupted LPG supply to 33.5 crore households.
For now, our OMCs are bearing losses of ₹1,000 crore per day and have been able to insulate the energy consumers from impact of global volatility.
We have taken strong measures to turn this challenge into an opportunity.
India has diversified crude sourcing from 27 countries in 2006-07 to 41 countries today and is ensuring uninterrupted supplies from routes that are not impacted by the geopolitical situation. We strategically hold enough energy for 74 days, and continue to further expand our capacity.
All these are signs of a robust economy, not one in any difficulty!

Vedic chants echoed across the Art of Living International Center on the outskirts of Bengaluru today as thousands gathered to mark 45 years of the Art of Living movement and the 70th birthday of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
At the center of the sprawling ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly built Dhyan Mandir, a massive meditation hall that became the symbolic centerpiece of the day.
But this was not merely a spiritual ceremony.
PM Modi described Art of Living as “a huge banyan tree whose thousands of branches are touching the lives of countless people across the world.” He then connected spirituality directly to governance, civic participation and environmental responsibility: “No government can succeed unless society itself actively participates in nation-building,” he said.
Another line drew some of the strongest reactions from the audience: “Saving every drop of water is also Art of Living.”
GuruDev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, standing beside the Prime Minister, praised Modi’s transformation agenda, saying: “You gave a new identity to the country by raising it from poverty, dirt and disorder. You launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and made the country clean, beautiful and safe.”
It felt less like a conventional religious gathering and more like a display of India’s emerging soft power doctrine, spirituality fused with national identity, environmental messaging, mass volunteerism and statecraft.

While at Art of Living, met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji. We had an excellent discussion on various subjects, notably the work of Art of Living. His passion towards furthering societal good is noteworthy.
