@MBTA you left customers stranded for 2 cycles of the 216 and they're STILL stranded. The Station Manager couldn't explain why 2 buses never showed up. Unacceptable! @maura_healey I'm fed up with this bs. Address it asap!

.@MassAGO the Senate chose to treat yesterday’s audit meeting like it was a presidential debate about a law that was passed by 72% of voters. The professional auditors in my office are not politicians and will not be defending themselves against these lawbreakers just to be able to access documents that they legally have the right to access to conduct an audit. It’s your role to defend them @MassAGO.
I have sent many formal requests for your assistance but still no action has been taken. I’ll be reaching out again tomorrow, and again the next day, and the day after that — until this is resolved. Our audit team is ready to get to work on this but needs to know if you are.

1. Sweeps target poor people of color in public housing with harsh sentences, often stacking charges on people unrelated to gang activity or on outer fringes (e.g. https://t.co/j0UbVQf3EU).
2. Cox never mentioned the database. He praised BRIC + the gang unit. A sloppy conflation.
No one in Congress should vote to send $10 billion in military aid to Netanyahu’s war machine when they are responsible for an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
For the third time, Biden’s campaign remarks have been interrupted by protesters. The first gentleman started by yelling out “Genocide Joe.” Second person yelled out something about Israel. Next person, Gaza.
And in the time it took me to write that tweet, two more interruptions
There is a horrific humanitarian disaster in Gaza. The U.S. should not provide another nickel to the Netanyahu government unless there is a fundamental change in military policy and their response to the humanitarian crisis.
Next Thurs, the Housing Comm. will be holding a hearing on the Affordable Homes Act, a $4 billion housing bond bill. It includes significant investments in housing (including $1.6 billion for public housing), critical policies to protect tenants, and a local option transfer fee.
