Looks like a job done by Tesla/Elon haters. Terrorists may claim responsibility for whatever atrocities they commit but Tesla haters or TSLAQ cultists remain anonymous.
For individual houses in risk areas, having a pool to sprayer system that covers the house and siding would be smart. Not a hard retrofit. Also, wind blowing embers into eaves is a huge problem. Misters/sprayers under eaves as part of the system would be great. This would be a great business to start.
@cybrtrkguy Needs close to 500 for ultra utility, wide adoption and gas truck swaps en masse. Itโs the best vehicle Iโve ever driven by a long shot. Towing anything eats half of range though.
@wholemars FSD getting really, really good. Two big critiques are still lack of explicit speed control and follow distance is waaaay to close on the freeway. Leaves almost no time to intervene if there is road debris, car slamming on brakes in front of you, potholes etc etc.
It is sad. Had my Model S for almost 9 years. I thought for sure it would be the MacBook Pro of cars when I bought it. Aluminum chassis, swap the battery every 8 years and drive forever. Sadly, they end up being worth close to zero because of the battery replacement cost. Still the best looking car on the road. Props to Elon and Franz for making the bootloader for the autonomous robotaxi future look so cool. At the time it was basically a Nissan leaf ๐คฎ or a Model S. Huge cost difference but the Model S really was a leap into the future.
CYBURBAN
This thing would be amazing. 9 seat family car. It will last for a million miles and effectively replace 5 @Chevy Suburbans every time one is sold. Demand for gas cars is going ๐ very soon. @Sofiaan@bonnienorman
Tesla software feature request- Instead of just destinations for FSD, would be cool to add a named route. Helpful for common routes but also getting to very specific spots on the way home like the proper entrance lane going into a parking lot, through a certain gate or up a particular turn on a driveway. Like an aircraft flight plan ๐ @wholemars@teslaownersSV@cybertruck@cybrtrkguy@Kristennetten@Gfilche
I reached out again and am waiting for another reply. Will update when I hear back. Hopefully our glorious leader chimes in. This seems like an easy one to fix and make right. Click a few buttons on the drop down menu and make the orders before the policy change eligible to transfer and letโs move forward with monitoring all the other situations on this great platform.
@TheTeslaLife I got word from my Tesla sales advisor this morning that orders from before the policy change will be able to transfer FSD even into 2027. They double checked this morning. Hopefully that is true but they looked into it. @wholemars@teslaownersSV@Kristennetten
Yeah, this sucks. Seen plenty of policy changes over the last 12 years. This retroactive move probably the worst. Most changes are just no-notice price and policy changes but havenโt seen a retroactive change like this. Still an opportunity to make it right and issue clear guidance.
@JulianVLamy@Cyber_Trailer@grok Iโm in this boat as well and reached out to the sales advisor. Iโm sure they are getting bombarded with the identical question.
@cnlinkcnlink @Cyber_Trailer Changes to the agreement in good faith are fine when changes impact orders from a point in time forward. Changes that go against the terms of service retroactively are not good. My hope is they say orders after Feb 28th need to take delivery before March 31st to transfer.
