Not excellent at Twitter - apologies to all two, no hang on, three hundred and something of my followers (except the porn bots) Investing/geopolitics/F1
@tom550993 Sit tight for Portofinos to come down. Had one a few days and it’s a brilliant drive, feels much more evolved and the torque is addictive, which the standard Cali lacks. Also can’t get on with these headlights or the weird exhaust arrangement
This would be the UAE just across the bay from a war zone where quite a few residents have already left?
Monaco > UAE and it’s not even close. There’s good reason more than half the grid live there. Arguably the climate is better than UAE, you’re in Europe, there’s enough going on not to make it boring and it’s not infested with crypto bros selling courses.
Not within commuting distance of the factory or subject to the strict paparazzi laws that mean these guys can actually live a normal day to day life in Monaco. It would be massively clunky for him to live on one of the Caribbean islands for instance. UAE obviously less attractive than it was.
You should probably listen again as that isn’t what he said. He says the U.K. is marginalised from the conversation because of Brexit, which is demonstrably true. He does not tie Brexit to the dire state of U.K. defence. That’s down to politicians who would have made those choices Brexit or not, in favour of an ever bloating welfare state.
@JavierBlas Correct, though mobilisation for the maintenance at Karachaganak was underway last week. Then Tengiz had an anomalous hiccup. KZ gov immediately cut in to cancel NCOC’s turnaround for fear CPC throughput could drop to near zero.
@Krishna_agg_@SawyerMerritt You can expect the Luce to sell at least as many units as the Spectre. Already sold out into 2028. People didn’t think they’d sell the Purosangue SUV either and those have waitlists with production capped around 3,000 units a year
