Low Latent Inhibition (LLI) is a cognitive trait where the brain has a reduced ability to filter out irrelevant stimuli, leading to heightened awareness of details in the environment.

We're building a Moon Base!
@NASAMoonBase will serve as a habitat where astronauts live and work during long-term science missions.
Join us at 2pm ET on Tuesday, May 26, for a live news event where we’ll share updates on our lunar exploration plans: https://t.co/IJXA7xYwju
We are working to restore mobility that was lost due to disease or spinal cord injury by allowing participants to control robotic arms with their thoughts.
See how this is possible.
We’re pleased to announce that @torybruno is joining Blue Origin as president, National Security, reporting to CEO Dave Limp. Tory will spearhead our newly formed National Security Group.
Today, Jared Isaacman (@NASAAdmin) was sworn in as NASA’s 15th Administrator. At a time of intense competition across the last frontier, he will lead the most talented minds in the nation to ignite the orbital economy, usher in world-changing scientific discovery, and return American astronauts to the Moon – this time, to stay.
America’s historic mission in space continues. 🚀 https://t.co/zbSZLTZFiv
This is the Titan series surveillance drone from Comrado Aerospace - incubated at IISc in BLR
The founder Ansar is also the Program Director of UAV platforms at ARTPark (which is a part of IISc)
Interestingly, Comrado hasn't raised VC money (so far) but has received grant funding from Dept of Science and Technology (DST) and the Govt of Karnataka
This heightened perception can lead to a sense of solitude because they can no longer participate in the superficial aspects of social life that others take for granted, making it hard to connect with the "herd".
"He who sees too much" is a quote attributed to Friedrich Nietzsche, suggesting that a person with profound insight and awareness of underlying truths, hypocrisies, and illusions may become alienated and find it difficult to fit into society.
@Arcfunmi 2:
It's not like an idiot decided to build a round opening into a "fancy" café.
The round door is an instrument to protect the heritage architecture of the riverside.

@Arcfunmi This is a re-use of former "dock storage" by the Vltava river:
about 20 "round mini-warehouses" by the river used to lay dormant -> were recently re-designed for cafes, galleries, and public toilets (uniform projects for safety, infrastructure, connectivity, etc.).

To my favorite Music Artist!
I wish your music to become one with the world, inspiring many people who need it in life's challenges.
Happy birthday🎂 @Yanni.
Thank you for being a person who cares enough to bring the gift of music into our lives.
New Glenn successfully completed its second mission by deploying @NASA’s ESCAPADE twin spacecraft, powering on and transmitting data for @Viasat’s HaloNet technology demonstration, and landing the fully reusable first stage on Jacklyn. Learn more: https://t.co/a4PycrFeEP
The world doesn't change just by looking at it. You transform it by the way you decide to live there.
Look upward. The sky is serene. And I believe the answers are up there, lying in wait.
#DeepThoughts
We do not create or discover new things for our own pleasure. but for the advancement of all of humanity and the growth of knowledge.
In an effort to learn something new and transform the world, we ascended to the sky.
So next time you’re pondering life, remember: you’re a walking, talking bundle of neurons, built from stardust, somehow aware of itself. The brain’s the ultimate enigma, and we’re only at the beginning of cracking its code.
What do you think consciousness is?
#Neuroscience
Ever think about how wild it is that me talking right now is just neurons firing in my brain, turning into speech that sparks neurons in yours? This thread’s about demystifying the brain, the organ that basically is you.
A thread on #Brain#Consciousness🧵
We don’t have the answers yet. The Standard Model of physics gets us from the Big Bang to now, but consciousness? That’s still a mystery. Is it about the density of connections? The complexity of matter “talking” to itself? We’re just starting to unravel it.
