🚨 URGENT: ALIREZA RAEISI AND SHERVIN BAGHERIAN ARE REPORTEDLY AT IMMINENT RISK OF EXECUTION.

Alireza Raeisi, 22, and Shervin Bagherian, 18, are two young defendants in Isfahan’s Alikhani Square case whose lives may now depend on immediate international attention.

Shervin was reportedly subjected to a forced confession that was broadcast on state television. His family has reportedly faced intense security pressure while his mother’s health has deteriorated under the unbearable fear of losing her son.

Alireza has reportedly been listed among the defendants whose death sentences entered the execution-enforcement stage. Serious concerns remain about restricted access to lawyers, the case file and an effective independent defense.

A confession extracted through intimidation is not evidence.

A proceeding without genuine access to a lawyer is not justice.

An execution carried out after such a process would be an irreversible act of state violence.
