Convened and chaired the 3rd meeting of the National Computer and Cybercrimes Coordination Committee (NC4) for 2026, bringing together key agencies to review the country's cybersecurity landscape and strengthen coordinated responses to emerging digital threats.

The meeting received updates from member agencies, which highlighted a growing trend in cyber-related offences, including digital payment fraud, online harassment, identity theft, false publication and unauthorised access to computer systems.

These deliberations come at a pivotal moment following Parliament's approval of the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA), a landmark step that will further enhance national coordination, protection of critical information infrastructure and response to evolving cyber threats.

Also present were NC4 Director Dr. James Kimuyu, Data Commissioner Immaculate Kassait and representatives from the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy (MoICT), the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) and eCitizen.
